The end of an era has dawned upon us and it is certainly a bittersweet moment. The Slumber Queen has served me well, but alas, it's time to move on to a rig that will better suit my needs.

It's never easy to give up something that means a lot to you. However, when you know it's time to let something as special as the Slumber Queen go (as you do), then the decision seems like the right one for you. My wife and I watch your show because of you, not for what you drive or camp in. Change is natural. And we can't wait to see your next episode!

Hubby & I have loved watching the progress of the SQ! After we saw the video about the leaks & other problems, we thought it might be time. You have shared with us such beautiful places & gorgeous scenery! no worries, we will continue to watch whatever you decide your next adventure will be. We pulled out our tent, got some cots & other camping gear & have looked into doing more camping thanks to you & your channel. (We can't afford RV's!)

I know the feeling. I spent 5 years building a 2 seat airplane, when it was finished and signed off from the FAA I was too burned out to fly it. I flew it a couple times then sold it. No regrets.

I know the bittersweet feeling of selling a camper you’ve put so much into. Like yours, there was always something else to work on. It was tough letting it go, but then it actually felt like a relief. So many possibilities now! Have fun and keep trying other rigs 👍

Honestly, I was never really too crazy about that slumber queen. Enjoyed your videos a lot more when you were camping at your truck or subie. But having said that, don’t feel too bad. All the work and stuff you put into it helped you to learn what works and what doesn’t work for you when camping. I’ve spent months probably a year building out my rig and then realized it just wasn’t working and I ripped the whole thing out and started over again. Did that twice, lol!

We sold our camper once our children had grown into adults. Our children had used it a few times to go to some concerts and I had always thought perhaps they could take over the payments but there had been too many years between using it and not using it. I always loved camping and I love watching your channel because of you. You make your channel interesting with the adventures that you do. The slumber queen was a part of you and your next adventures will be too. Keep coming with the cooking adventures.

Brooo!!! This made me sad and I’ve watch you grow from this experience and honestly you made me go out and buy a camper which I’m slowly starting to remodel it myself which is bittersweet since at one hand you are selling it and another hand I just got one. I was honestly waiting to finish this project to take it to Oregon and actually invite you on a camping trip as well but who knows maybe in the future when you get a new one we can link together and have a grand adventure! God bless you and good luck on your future endeavors!

Hard to tell from photos but looks like savable. You need a lot of insulation for what you're doing. Fill the walls, floor and ceiling with foam. Probably have to replace some paneling if not all. Definitely open windows and vents when you cook. Also use moisture wicks to absorb moisture inside. (The cubes people put in basements to keep dry) You gotta be creative about not bringing too much moisture inside. Any small space that you try to heat is going to have a condensation problem. Perhaps not do the gourmet cooking inside, just cold food or warm and eat. I know you like it and it's big part of your videos. And you do a great job cooking. But confined spaces always have problems with moisture. Desert camping might be better.
