Back in the mid 90's.. i bought a 1996 Ford F350 Ext. Cab.. 4x4 w/7.3ltr Pwr Stroke Diesel & 5 spd trans... i pulled it into my shop the day i drove it home... Spent the next 14 months hand building a "tiny home/cabin" on the back of it.. i removed factory 8ft bed & used it to build a trailer i pulled behind truck cabin I built a solid wooden frame mounted to the chassis that was a total of 11' 4" (including a 30" back porch.. Gable top w/ metal roof .. i had drawn out the design on drafting paper before i ever purchased the truck.. I had every amenity inside that a regular rv camper has.. plus a small stainless steel wood burning stove w/vent pipe (chimney) through roof.. I had built in boxes on each side of back porch that held 7 gallon bucket of fresh water, propane tank & split firewood.. 12v water pump.. Inside walls were lined w/ eastern red cedar boards .. exterior was southern pine w/polyurethane.. i had a built in bed w/ storage underneath on each side w/ custom built soft thick mattresses.. 24" flat screen tv .. 12v/110v led lighting w/ solar panels on roof.. it was a very NICE setup!! I used it in winter on my hunting land.. Weekend getaways other times.. facing the porch on the rear.. left of the door .. i put a small window unit ac .. i had an inverter in camper too.. i could run off solar, 12v batteries or 115v "shore" power (regular electric).. Run AC on Electric.. If i were out on my land in summer.. i carried a small generator I kept it till 2011.. truck only had 38k miles on it.. I sold it over 16 yrs after i purchased it for $3000.00 more than i paid for original truck.. yes, i had more than that in it from building.. but i got 16 yrs use out of it 😊😊

I don't understand all the negative comments. Jonathan works hard to bring us quality videos and this is his full time job. Sometimes you have to try something new to see how it works out, and what the future can bring for his channel and subscribers. I personally can't wait to see what is next in Jonathans adventures, i can only dream of doing something like this. I think the his new truck is a Toyota Sunrader! Keep up the awesome work J!
