Two suggestions: 1st, book a 1/2 day walk and wade guide. They will teach you basic casting, set up, drifts and flies. Worth the money. 2nd, wear a wade belt. Good habit to get in to for several reasons - you can read about. Here’s a bonus…get a float tube and fly fish on the many trout lakes…it is a blast and YOU WILL CATCH FISH!!

I used to work at geek squad. They can do that data transfer it is extremely simply but if they aren't competent at what they do or are just lazy they won't do it. You just open the hard drive enclosure and connect the hard drive inside and transfer your info out. It might be scary if you don't know what you're doing but honestly it's so easy if this ever happens again you can do it your self!

Hey Jonathan, If you want to have more success flyfishing you want to match the hatch. That basically means you want to use flies that mimic whatever insect is hatching in that stream that time of year, entomology is a pretty important part of flyfishing. Usually the local shop should have that information for you and a big chance they have the particular fly you need for it. Also I’d recommend fishing nymphs underneath a indicator instead of a dropper for more visibility when you’re getting the hang of it. Good luck on your next time out 👍🏻 P.s. have you checked the battery connection yet? It could just be some oxidation on the positive and or negative connection.

Hi, I’m so thrilled you went to Crested Butte it’s one of my favorite areas hardly any people especially fall time . After you leave Crested Butte and your headed back to Gunnison on your left there’s a road to Taylor reservoir its beautiful and there’s Cottonwood Pass which takes you to Buena vista . I’m not sure if Cottonwood pass is open but Taylor reservoir should be open? SNOW will close the pass for the winter . Another thing in Colorado lots of ghost towns and some might still have a few people who run gift shops and live there good video footage . It’s like stepping back in time 😎 I lived in Gunnison back in 1978-1986 I was 19 years old . The rivers were roaring century record snows my dad hooked me up with a fly rod . I caught 19 fish in 1 hour they were running up stream . All I had in my freezer were fish😄 that was a long time ago and I’m not sure if the fish are still there in those numbers . I was fishing at the bridge leaving Gunnison headed west just down stream from a bridge Tomushie Village? I don’t fish at all I just had the right fly and lots of fish to caught Cathy O

With a water current like that I'm guessing the fish would be hiding behind big rocks so targeting behind any big rocks might be smart. I find it so easy to catch fish in calm lakes casting from shore. Caught many pike trolling with a paddle boat. Maybe there's just a lot more fish in lakes or bigger slow rivers. With clear water like that you can see it's mostly empty. Maybe they have to travel in fast rivers but maybe they just pass through quickly making it barren most of the time and very hard to catch. But I can imagine them taking a break behind a rock. Just my guesses.

Any place fish can post up to ambush things the current pushes by is where to focus on rivers.. So basicallly anything that breaks the current. bends in the river deep holes or logs evem bog rocks. Fish will kinda post up there out of the current or hidden and wait for things to float by... so make your fly float by at the speed of the current.. keep moving and cover lots of water.. a lot of times if you just sit and watch and let all that city noise leave your head you will start seeing bait and bugs and fish that were right in front of you ... good luck buddy.. love the vids

You have to put your own sauce, mayonnaise or whatever you want. I always put mayonnaise on both sides. Clise it. Then open it and take the chicken breast out and leaving the mayonnaise bun and pickles (always get extra pickles) and eat them separately. It is oh so good. The hotter the better. Nothing better than Chick-fil-A.

The Geek at Geek squad deserves a $10 tip for saving all your files. It's really shitty when you get the 1st employee that doesn't give a shit and is like 'nah brah can't help you, I GET PAID $10 AN HOUR AND DON'T GIVE A FUCK' but then a great employee that actually gives a damn about customer service throws you a lifeline. Side note: I hit the road in my camper full time in April starting in California. I have an iMac that I strap down secure when driving so it doesn't fall. One day three of my trip, while driving down Big Bear I hear a 'bang' and realized I forgot to strap my $3000 iMac down (my video editing, music making source of income). It completely smashed the screen and it took me 2 weeks and $800 later to get fixed. Memo to self.....back shit up and always, always double check and protect your equipment when you hit the road.
