I really love how you include the piano here. It's just so beautiful. When I started going more in the rock direction with my music I somehow got the feeling that I am not able to use the piano a lot anymore, since it's not "common" for rock bands. This comment more than likely will be lost in the sea of everyone, but I just wanted to say in the off chance you happen to notice it. This song was able to voice exactly how I've felt over the course of my entire depression. I've been depressed since 7 years old but my parents ignored and denied it. I'm 29 now. I've attempted numerous times but never followed through. Felt hopeless, cried, been numb for years to many emotions or events that should have made me feel something. Anything. You were able to translate everything into a 3 and a half minute song. Thank you. This song made me break down in tears for at least 45 minutes straight. If you read this, just know. This song has changed my life. Nobody could do that. Not even my wife... Just knowing someone who has an idea of what I'm going through gives me strength to keep pushing. Today, I've finally started to work out again, I haven't done anything for about a year due to low morale.

I can relate pretty hard. I've had depression and now bipolar disorder. Been in the mental hospital three times. I've been dealing with depression for a long time and I am agoraphobic and don't leave my house and don't have any friends. I have two young children who rely on me and I can't be everything for them. This song immediately spoke to me and I'm listening to it right now to help me get through a tough day. I have started working out and running recently and stopped eating sugar. Good job with starting to change your life, it will always help.

You could have told me this was a Three Days Grace original Featuring Jonathan Young and I’d believe you. This screams and feels old-fashioned Three Days Grace energy. Love it, sharing it, all-in-all we needed this outstanding original.

Even as a Christian I can appreciate how fucking epic and awesome this is. To me it's about someone struggling with their faith and wanting to give up on the world, not realizing that even when times are tough we shouldn't give up the great gift of life. Great Job!

I cannot get the image out of my head of this being from the point of view of a combat veteran warring with survivor's guilt. The lyrics are soaked in pain, isolation, and self-loathing. Absolutely beautiful.

This comment will probably be drown in the mass, but hey, i need to tell what I think. I personnaly discovered you with covers of course, and at first i wasn't paying attention at all to your original work. But with Brokenbrow first, i realised how much I like your work more than just because it was covers of songs that i liked. With this song, and others originals, i know that I love even more when you do what you like, because you're freaking good at this. Good luck for the future, and i will not miss any of your original songs from now on. And of course, this one is absolutely amazing, and i will share it as much as I can
