I’m not sure how to do emotional intimacy… I didn’t realise I was this shut down 🤷🏼‍♀️ from childhood trauma…I’ve been on a journey these last few years getting to know myself more. Geez…Sandy, how did the subject of commitment even come up? He asked you out, isn’t that enough at this point? A date isn’t sex or marriage. Would it be possible to go out, relax and see how that date unfolds without having to have all the answers to the future? Trust yourSelf that you can handle whatever comes your way. Take it date by date…once a man becomes comfortable with a woman and it’s light and fun, he’ll move things forward. And you’re also listening carefully to him.

My answer to the thumbnail “ Make him chase you” Oh god no, please don’t chase me, even when I was young, chasing me wasn’t something that I enjoyed. I prefer to be approached correctly, just be honest about what you think you want. I am a teammate person, really hard for me to be all in. My parents were “ all in” , so my parents had nothing to do with my relationship style preference . If our team starts having BIG loses then we should let go, and move forward separately.
