About that (totally working as intended) external power source switch ... The starter is connected to the battery through the External Power/Starter Isolation switch. This switch must be turned on for the starters to function whether you are using external power or not. The in-flight restart procedure is ignition / fuel pumps ON, throttle CLOSE, condition CUTOFF, starter isolation switch ON, starter ACTIVATE. I'm 90% sure in this plane (like the Shorts?) to get external power you have to call ATC and ask for it and wait for it to arrive and connect, just turning the switch on doesn't mean you're using external power.

Yep - I need to write up the procedure for it, rather than wing it. I'll have a read later to confirm about the simulation of battery / air starts.

When you turned west at Balfour, if you would have continued north along the lake, you would’ve reached the town I grew up in, Kaslo (CBR2). It’s a tricky little strip to get into. Castlegar is the main regional airport for the West Kootenay region. I’ve flown Dash-8s and King Airs out of Castlegar, aka West Kootenay Regional, many times, in all kinds of weather. It has notoriously difficult approaches, and is used by the RCAF in their C-130 sim for tactical air drops. The house on the river where you said, “Imagine living there, that’s out in the sticks,” that’s actually only a 10-15 minute drive from Nelson, which is a town of 10k people. The sim doesn’t quite capture just how populated the valley between Nelson and Castlegar is. It would be great to see you explore more of British Columbia. Kelowna, Penticton, Vernon, Salmon Arm, Revelstoke, Golden, Cranbrook, Princeton, Kamloops, Terrace, Prince George, Prince Rupert, Port Hardy, Tofino, Bella Coola, Comox, Nanaimo, Victoria, and obviously Vancouver. And the dozens of smaller fields scatter between them. Flying the Fraser Canyon between Vancouver and Kamloops would make for a cool video.

I think I might enjoy this mod. I found BlackBox's Piston engine physics to be more like turboprops anyway. I'll get it sometime

Thank you Jon. I confess I have been hesitant in buying the Britten Norman because I found the rendering of the cabin a bit rugged or poor. After watching your video, I think this turbo Defender would look good in my hanger:) Do you know where can I buy it from? Is it the same dev as the older piston one? Cheers from Sydney Australia, yours Nick. PS: on a more personal note, speaking about dev's, I saw in one of your latest productions that the dev wrote to you to address a few problems that you have highlighted. Once again, to me this is a confirmation of your very high standards, if I needed one ;)
