I'm a contractor and have a White work van (gmc savanna) I built a small rack inside near the top that fits 5-6 poles in it up to 8 ft long. I always keep at least 2 in it because when I'm out doing estimates I constantly come across new waters both public and private. Ive even included receiving a guest pass from the homeowner as part of the deal in my proposals when doing work at a house that's sitting on a private body of water like small neighborhood lakes.

Luis Rios you must be new to our deep clear gem . 30 years ago up to 2002 our massive lake was way under this so called low level lake . When Our lake had a massive amount of hydrilla and coontail in 2003 it compared to Florida wet lands you could literally haul 30lb + limit in mins flipping oldham jigs, but then again like most of y'all must be new to this bass angling. @firghteningtruth71734 жыл бұрын
@@griffinsaleski2333 thats just...you have to be doing something wrong. Theres no way. IF there are fish in there...eventually theyll bite. A lot of fishing is adapting. If ya gotta, break out the reglar ol live bait...and find you a crappie spot. But...ive been skunked, occasionally. Usually I just dont know the water well enough yet. Come back with a different plan...all of a sudden...I cant turn it off. Get annoyed by all the lilluns when I know theres a biggun. Even though, i should just be happy catchin fish. Try using a texas rig worm. Learn to work it. Play with it in the shallow, where you can see it. Watch what it does when you jerk, reel...or just reel...or stop start... Tactical bassin has a really neat series where he puts a cam underwater. Through this, ive personally learned (i was doing this instinctively, anyway...) bass want a nice FALL. They come after it as its falling/hitting the floor. If you can learn to work the ol texas rig worm. I garauntee your fishing trips go WAY different. You dont want rain. You want to fish right before rain. Fish can sense the change and eat...knowing the water will be cloudy. Look up the optimal times to fish for your area. Believe it or not...they are accurate-ish. And always sun up or down is good. But i was rippin lips at 1pm just the other day in 107 degrees. Then, the window closed...nuthin. one last fish... and that was it. Coulda waited around and got another window...but it WAS 107. So... Anyway, good luck, tight lines.

Short57_Bus Question. I have a remote pond that hasn’t been fished in a while, but still for some reason only has small bass. I fished it once last year, caught one that was like 8 inches, fished it this year and caught several that were about 8 inches or so. Why would this be happening?
@MrRedforman14 жыл бұрын
@@trentmckenzie343 As with most fish, the growth rate of largemouth bass is highly variable and depends on food supply and environmental conditions. Largemouth can grow to more than 2 pounds in their first year under ideal conditions, but in nature about 0.5 pound is normal. Females are normally larger than males. In other words, if you have a good supply of bait fish like shad, smaller minnows, crawfish etc, then the bass has a great chance to grow bigger in less than 6 months

Seth Winters I’ll have to check into the supply of forage. It’s a small pond so I don’t assume there’s a lot in there. Thank you

Probably because of the size of the pond
