Heyy Jon B. Been abit behind. But I just finished your texas 24 hour multi-species video and I had an idea for ya. There is one wild species you missed! The rio grande cichlid only cichlid native to texas only place I’ve managed to find any was at the San Antonio river walk. I bet it would make an amazing video since they aren’t well known and they are a wild looking fish. Could be a sick and interesting challenge for the googan squad. Let me know what ya think man!

Seriously, you know that the mucous membrane of the fish is damaged and it becomes susceptible to fungal infestation, etc. You should treat the fish more gently and wet your hands before touching it and not throw it on the boat. Buy a landing net.
