I have been waiting for you to experience what I use to experience every summer growing up with relatives on this beautiful fishery. I still take the 1 hour drive almost every weekend to visit my grandparents and spend time on one of my favorite bodies of water in the world. You're the man dude! Hats off once again Jon. Production is always on point! I live in the Finger-Lakes in Central NY and I think you would enjoy fishing Cayuga Lake. We have native trout ( Lakers , browns,rainbows) bass in the north end and even Sturgeon. Cayuga is 435 feet deep and Seneca is 618 feet at the lowest point. Happy fishing Jon B!

Those 2 lakes have been on my todo list spent 2 weeks on keuka lake in September and the smallmouth bite was good best top water bite iv experienced. Kept blowing up on the whopper plopper even had 2 fish in 2 casts

I went on cayuga in April for lakers with Captain Randy we got some big boys and girls out of there. I’m from north Syracuse I’d say to Jon he should go and fish Oneida walleye and largemouths also Onondaga has some massive near 10lb largemouths

I have a cottage on the st lawrence right on the border of New York and ontario. It is my favorite place in the world and it’s the reason that I got into bass fishing. This video was truly inspiring thank you!

I fish a lot on the Ontario side (Prescott/Cardinal area). Caught my pb bass off shore (13lbs) and some decent trout too. Pike in the middle of the st. Laurence under the bridge, highly recommend.

I'm so soooo happy you fished what is my backyard. What made the MLF tournament so amazing this year was consistent weather. That river will beat you down most the time and for a first time you did great. It's truly unlike anything else it's a different place everyday usually with that weather. Hope to see you fish some of the finger lakes and the rivers some day! New York state is an amazing state to fish.

Fished here once a few years ago, my brother and I fished for 4 hours on a small row boat there and got a 24 pound bag. Truly an amazing fishery and great video man! I hope this fishery stays great

For Lake O need to drag minnows in the water below 50F. Blade baits work very well during this transition time. Live on Lake O its a grind but a reward if you fish it often

You could do an on the border kansas city. The Missouri river is pretty monstrous. IF you get on the 435 highway you can see a dam on the Kansas River that dumps into the Missouri a few miles downstream. The current is always crazy and it holds some big cats, striped bass, and carp as well. A few shoveled sturgeon near the sandbars

As a fellow Northerner, you gotta do one of these in the Boundary Waters, MN-Canada border! Or Lake of the Woods also located on MN/Canada Border. (Lake of the woods has some interesting history, with part of the state of MN having to go through canada to reach Minnesota again)

Looking like the orochi enforcer rod… gotta love them Megabass rods! Speaking of pike eating drop shots… the biggest pickerel I ever hooked into was on a drag n drop. After a ridiculous fight, it finally cut my line with its teeth. Thus fish was easily 36” and 7+ lbs, possibly bigger. The NJ state record was caught in my lake 65 years ago, and while I don’t know exactly how big the beast I lost was, there’s a possibility it was in that record range which is 9lbs 3oz I believe. But yeah a little drop shot on 8lb in a canoe. Thus fish had me spinning in circles

The st Lawrence can be tough sometimes. I fished a tournament there this year and only had 8 bites for 21 lbs .

You should make a trip to the John day river in Oregon, smallies we’re planted in the river by farmers a long time ago and they have just sky rocketed in numbers since then, it’s not uncommon to catch 100 fish in a day there and the fish are good sized 3-5 pounders all day
