After watching this it really made me think you gotta listen listen to Evermore: The Art of Duality by The Underachievers. They’re part of the Beast Coast collective with guys like Joey Badass and Flatbush Zombies so they’d definitely be up your alley. I would say it’s they’re best album but you could argue Indigoism (they’re breakthrough debut mixtape) is just as good, maybe better some days.

Ab Soul was my first fav artist from TDE, heard Longterm Mentality back in 09 or whenever it dropped. Kendrick only had the EP, his stuff before then was more of a Weezy/Jay Z hybrid before he really found himself. Ab had his own style for a while, very Ras Kass with the entendres and name dropping type stuff.
