I have a hitch that looks exactly like for my A also. It's a Saginaw 3-point hitch. The company no longer makes them & they fetch a good price when they show up for sale because of how well they were built. I've used mine for years and have never had any issues. It looks good on your A!

I have a ‘51 JD B without a 3 point. I did put a 3 point on my 1954 Allis Chalmers WD 45. As I think about it not every tractor had a rock shaft back then.

Prior to the 50s era equipment, it seems like the 3 point was just an option whereas today it's standard

@@jonelsonster until the 60's, the three point hitch was proprietary to Ford tractors only, any non-ford tractor up to early 60's with a three point was definitely aftermarket. They weren't even optional back then.
