I’m so unbelievably excited for this game. I love wingspan and Wyrmspan. Not the biggest fan of birds but I love fish. I find them fascinating. Pre ordering it tomorrow.

I enjoy Wingspan but have hesitated to introduce it to my family. They enjoy light and mid weight game but there is something about Wingspan that has always felt too heavy / fiddly about it. I'm only 3 minutes in but I can already tell you the 'dive down' mechanic is much more thematic and as such, much easier to explain than activating rows in Wingspan. This might be the one for them. Also this game is extraordinarily gorgeous! Stonemaier is so good at their production values.

Whenn randomizing the week-end scoring conditions, do those little black lines matter? they range from 1-3 little black lines that match up with the 1-3 slots. Are you suppose to only choose from that correlating stack when randomizing? so only pick a random one form the 1 line stack for the first week, 2 line stack for the 2nd week etc.? Or do those have no meaning? I see you example in the video has a 2 line in the 3 line area. Hopefully this makes sense.
