💜I love this Joni🎨I really need to work on my 🌹 rose's. What kind of gold leaf are yu Useing ? I bought some inxpensive gold yesterday at Wal-Mart. Its ok. But I love the gold leave. Tried to find acrylic violet magenta but gumbacher. I was unable. Where did you get yours?

Holbein and Liquitex basics both have beautiful shades of Quinachrodone magenta, quinachrodone crimson. And luminous violet. I use and recommend both

Hi oil painting is my favorite but I had to go to acrylic because of the odor of turpentine. I tried the odorless but it really wasn’t odorless enough. Is there another I can use that won’t give me headaches. Thank you . Watch you paint a lot .

I wish I could help, I only work in acrylic and don’t have any knowledge in regards to oils and odourless turpentine. Have you tried asking oil painting groups on Facebook? 😉

That’s ok! They look like oil because I applied the gloss varnish over making it shiny like oils 😉

It’s Liquitex basics gloss varnish- Michaels and Amazon sells it. I’m using metallic gold by Liquitex basics as well ❤️
