When Johan called you while you were digging an ice hole in the pouring rain to make sure you’re alive and to say that you are missed, was such a beautiful moment. And even more beautiful when you said that the rain feels so good. That’s our Jonna 🥰 I’m so happy you both followed it with an evening together in the sauna/ice bath. It was truly magical.

So beautiful! We had a daytime moon today and the 2 yr old kept screaming moon moon ! She was so excited to see the sun and moon together. We had to come inside. today though we had a little taste of summer at 86 f ! 😮 The bees were looking for water and wanted to sting the children so we came inside and ate ice cold fruit to cool off. Its raining tonight so maybe the bees wont be so angry tomorrow. Im so curious about ice baths. How deep are they? Is there grass or sand on the bottom? Can small children or pregnant ladies go in them or is it not safe?

All the best to you! I know what you are going through as I moved to Germany for work after finishing my university (I studied Germanistics). My heart is thorn between my homecountry and West Germany. It's not easy at the beginning of your adulthood but this short period of hard work at the beginning will make your adult life so much better. Don't doubt in yourself and don't give up. My husband and I went for a walk by our creek yesterday and I put my feet in the icecold water for the first time this year, it was magical!! I'm the same way with winter turning back into spring. Winter is SO hard on me. The low light and darkness make me feel half-alive, depressed, and I struggle to keep going. In spring, I feel like I can feel the earth coming back to life inside of me, and it brings ME back to life, too. The green grass and leaves appearing on the trees, the wildflowers, the birds singing, the daylight lasting so much longer! I wish we didn't have to have winters. Some people don't mind the frigid cold and darkness, but I hate it.

Spring is always my favorite time of the year. It is like new life restarts everywhere and everything is so green and beautiful. It invigorates the mind and soul and brings us back to life as well. It's magical.

Yes, the dear old soul made it and I took my whole annual holiday to be able to help him over the next weeks and help him rebuild his ability to walk each new week additional 5 min. He is doing well and already playing and teasing again plus enjoys all the love and attention. It looks like he has a time of new life quality ahead of him and that makes me so happy and grateful.
