Hello, you all 💙 I''ve been reading your comments all morning, and I'm dazzled of all of your kindness not only towards me but also towards of each others ❤ I'm thankful that you take the time to write here, and share your love out to the world. Let's continue that, it is what this world needs ❤ And as a side note, there're many comments on why I use the word "Scandinavian" though Finland is not a part of Scandinavia. Finland is not geographically a part of Scandinavia but I have personally always thought that our culture here in the North is very similar to our neighbour countries. For many centuries people have moved across Finland, Sweden and Norway, especially here in the North, and shared similar culture. That is why I use this word but I do understand it is confusing. Thank you for all of you who share your corner of the world and your life stories here. I'm sending you all the warmth and love I can to your different situations in life ❤❤

There is nothing better than an "uneventful" but meaningful life. Many people find every-day-life more interesting than busy vacations, talking a mile-a-minute videos and watching a "set stage". In your life, there is beauty like no other...who tires of a beautiful flower in their garden year after year? Last but not least, "snow washing", how INTERESTING! Thank you!

I have been thinking that all evening. I'm old now. I'm very tired most of the day. I still work a little bit but I end up in a lot of physical pain even working a few hours a day. I often long for the days of less pain, the days filled with family and friends. My life is quiet now. I am grateful for people like Sanna who share the beauty of their lives through videos . That helps make my life more interesting and beautiful too. ❤

Lucky you! I want to retire so bad but because of unfortunate happenings I can't. I've paid for my house for 30 yrs and still owe almost as much as I paid for it. After a split in 2001 with my x bf, I had to buy him out and start over. Then my mom got dementia 15 years into the 2nd time I had to modify the loan as I took care of her and she went under hospice in my house so I couldn't work and had to collect social security at 63. Well...didn't know they were going to knock a little over $200. Off the payment and add 30 more years to my loan Ugh. I'm 70. If it wasn't for my animals, which is my life( horses mainly) I guess I could live in a van

It was glorious, all our snow forts, the snowmobiles, the ice-fishing, the hot cocoa with marshmallows afterwards, the quiet, the peace, the isolation. The snow tunnel to the barn, sometimes, to get firewood . . .

Such a beautifully shot video and the message at the end. I moved to Finland last year and have fallen in love with its beauty and the people. ❤

Your knitting is absolutely beautiful!! My mother used to hang our laundry out in the winter. I love the fresh smell when she would dry them hanging inside. You make such lovely videos. ❤

Such a beautiful message. I live in Northern Canada in a small rural area and love also the long and very cold but peaceful beautiful winters. Someone mentioned they preferred narration. I actually love the subtitles as I am a visual person so it had a lot more meaning for me personally than hearing it be narrated and I found to be more peaceful. Thank you!!

So very beautiful Sanna - your photography really does convey how cold it is where you live. I have never seen forests so white! I have heard of snow washing but it was lovely to watch you lay out so many fabulous handknit sweaters. You are a very talented young lady. Thank you. ❤

Washing sweaters in the snow? Who would have thought? Amazing what we can learn. Love the dogs. Beautiful photos, especially the aerials. You are life! You are living it. God bless. Thank you for sharing.

I love to snow wash things too. So magical how it works but I rub things on the snow much more , works well for rugs too .

In Minnesota we had the same attitude to winter; contending with winter makes one feel strong.

Northern Finland looks so much like Northern MN, doesn't it? It's no wonder so many Finnish immigrants settled in MN in the early part of the last century.

What a beautiful, tranquil life you seem to have. An extremely far cry difference from life here in a rural part of Florida. Nature seems so peaceful there, in this chaotic world in which we live.

I love your knitting, it is so beautiful. I have been knitting for 54 years and I love it, but I have never knitted something in the round with a yoke. Your video’s are a delight to watch. Thank you.😊

Sanna, this is beautiful and what talent you have. I am mostly of Norwegian dissent. Would love to visit Finland, Norway or Sweden someday. However, me, and my whole extended family have been born and lived in Texas for a couple hundred years. My husband and I lived in Germany and Asia and I remember the weather being so extreme at times. It is mostly warm and dry where I live now but supposed to be freezing by tomorrow. I love seeing the snow where you are, so pretty.

You make the loveliest videos! I found you because Jessica Mills on "Homemade Wanderlust" on KZbin mentioned you a year or so back as one of her favorite channels. You know that big black cupboard you have in the corner with all your sweaters on top? Why don't you take a hint from wonderful Swedish art and paint it blue and then decorate it with beautiful colorful designs from Swedish folk tradition? Im sure you will have to wait till summer to get to town for paint, but you could turn that cupboard into a beautiful creature and have a lot of fun doing it! After all, God made rainy days for making bread and cookies, knitting, and painting things!

Dear Sanna, you are amazing! Thank you for such beautiful video. I live in the middle of Europe (the Czech Republic), during my childhood we also had a lot of snow - not as much as you have, but enought to ski and enjoy the winter time. In the last couple of years we hardly have a little snow in Dezember/January. I am really grateful that I could have seen the amazing nature aroung your place. Take care. 😘💖🧶

How very beautiful! -Where you live and how you carry out your life there. Your honest and wholesome thoughts that pour forth from your heart are a blessing to my soul. The glories of the seasons and the colors of the sky at all hours is so very captivating to see and live in for a few moments. Thank you for sharing your perspectives and the art of your chronicles with your fellow man. 😊

You live in a harsh environment but it's beautiful. I've always loved the winter and snow. However, the older I get the more it causes me to ache. Never be stressed or worry about the content. Your video is lovely and peaceful. I like quiet solitude myself.

Your video gives me comfort 💕 Moved to a country that is a thousand miles away from home. Been living alone for almost a year now. Although I see this as a blessing, there are still days when you just feel sad and miss the familiarity of your “home”.
