This could've been amazing and I think the vocal tracks were probably really amazing to begin with but the producer has done some weird stuff with vocals and beat etc. There's also less usage of like layering bits of vocals/singing throughout the songs in the album. I may not be explaining it well but I know what I mean 😅.

@@JohnDoe-mv2be nah it's the whole thing, it's all quite...flat as well as a few other aspects that I don't have time to type out atm. Plus, dude thought it'd be a good idea to make literally every song sub 3 min? I think if you listen to this album, with headphones and listen to any other album, the last two weren't as good as some others (U.S.S Regret and Going Under are bangers though) so maybe jump before those ones and actually put headphones in and listen. E.g. Find What You Love and Let it Kill You, Blueprint for Going Round in Circles, A Dream is a Question You Don't Know How to Answer and like several of the band albums and you'll see what I mean. Heck even Le Cube Sessions isn't as flat and empty sounding and I believe they are are all essentially demo's. Tbh you could argue that the rawness of the songs are a plus in some people's eyes. If you're a friend of this Shaker dude or something I'm sorry bud. I just think he's harming his career by using producers like this who are maybe not at the right stage in their career or who aren't suited to working with specific types of artists/genres.
