I’m hypnotized by this. Jonny Lang is full of passion and soul, love his voice, the way he plays guitar and his energy! I’m watching this from BKK, Thailand. If I’m lucky enough I hope I get to see him live for once in this life. 💙

His voice is like a punch in the chest. It hurts, but it hurts so good! I get the same feeling when I hear Van Morrison. Going to see him in an auditorium with great accoustics. Trying for front row seats, so he can spray his sweat on me.Can't wait. My 1st time seeing him live.

41,000 views, what a complete shame. An actual talent/virtuoso that gets no respect. Society is doomed because people are ignorant, exhibit #1

This white boy blew me away when I first heard him (when he was 15 years old). He's gone through some 'stuff' and, with God's help, came through it wiser and better. I LOVE THIS young man - VERY talented and has good ol' soul; who'da thunk it. He was definitely a surprise package. God bless you and your family, Jonny!!

I just saw him live on Friday and he is phenomenal!! I've loved him since I was 13 and his first album came out at 15 yrs old. He just keeps getting better but still no love. People don't know real talent. Watching him live almost brought me to tears because of the way he feels every single word he sings/plays. His live version of this is a 100 times better than the album. I'm so excited for his new stuff coming out in August!!

We got the privilege of seeing Kid Jonny (what was he, like 11?) open up for Aerosmith in July '97. Stupid people were actually booing him when they became impatient for the main act. Can you believe it? True blues fans were in the house, and it has been a love affair ever since. Also, just got to see him in a small venue in Glenside, PA in Oct 2013. Phenomenal show. He only improves with age.
@o0GrayMatters0o4 жыл бұрын
He's a phenomenal talent! Been listenin' to him since 97/98. I think he spoke more with his actions than he did with words- until he started puttin' out gospel albums to try to get that something he lost back. Speaking of that though, I had no idea Disney tried to get their filthy little fingers on him- prolly were the ones that told him to perform barefoot knowing them. The music and entertainment industry is no place for an innocent long-blonde haired boy. Let's be honest though, this is hard to watch. Jonny is a fucking master musician and vocalist. If I posted it I'd delete it out of respect to him.

Reading comprehension and observational skills problems surface on the KZbin comments section. Don't worry about it "dude;" you have lots of company.
@Claymation9911 жыл бұрын
I wasn't too into him for a long time because I was looking at him as a guitar player. His guitar playing is very whatever. As a vocalist, I really can't think of a guy in this generation other than Gavin DeGraw that can compare to the soul. It's fantastic
@Canoe57111 жыл бұрын
Decades ago, when he first showed up as a super talented child prodigy, he caught a lot of criticism for his over-emoting, extreme facial expressions, as though he'd lived the hard life expressed in blues music. He was a young white kid, wrinkling his face up with a single note picked? A single word sung? It was ludicrous. He became a caricature of himself. You could listen but not watch. That perception has followed him since.
