He's been my favorite for musician for 24 yrs, I stumbled across his music and have been hooked ever since. If you like gospel music he has a gospel cd called Turn around that he won a Grammy for. If you like blues his earlier cd Wonder this world will blow your mind! I've enjoyed all his music as he's grown through the years he has never disappointed!

This, but live from the Ryman. Jonny is a devout Christian, and was mentored by Buddy Guy and BB King as the caretaker of blues music. They passed the mantle onto him. He was a guitar prodigy at 11, and is a musical genius.

If the gospel thing moved you, check out his album “Turn Around” imho this is Jonny Lang at his best. Clearly, a huge turning point in his life, documented masterfully and full of feelings and emotions. Check out the song “Turn Around” for up tempo and “That Great Day” if you want your heart strings tugged. Either way, some of the greatest vocal performances of his career are on this album. Thanks for reminding me why I love Jonny Lang so much!

Ladies and gentlemen... Mr. Jonny Lang. Check out "Leaving to Stay" & "Is It Still Raining?".

Jonny Lang is my all time favorite live performer. He’s less about hitting precise notes in his singing and guitar playing but instead focuses on living in the moment/emotion of the song. Each time he plays a song it’s a little different.

Jonny grew up in Minnesota. In this song Jonny is reflecting on the changes in his life as he is convicted to become a believer in CHRIST. His next album is with Michael McDonald, "Turn Around" and is his first after giving his heart and life to Christ. Killer album with a lot of emotion! His catalog is amazing!

Hi Britt, I’m writing here as it’s your newest video. I’m not sure of proper request protocols so I’m just laying this out here and will catch up with you on the back end. I know you are a Carpenters fan. Your reaction to A Song For You was what brought you into my wheelhouse. The artist I’m going to request of you is a 20 year old Carpenters super-fan. She is also a singer that sings the songs of my youth 60-80’s. She has a unique gift and we’re going to feature that. Recently she has teamed up with a very talented older gentleman, Jim Wilkas. He’s a singer musician and more. He produced and edited the video I’m linking. There are a group of musicians involved here, too. This song was released last Saturday 3/2/24 to honor the birthday in heaven of the great lady, Karen Carpenter. I hope in her honor and for your reaction, you choose to watch this. It is a cover of We’ve Only Just Begun. I am underselling it as I don’t want your expectations to be too elevated as nothing can beat the original, right? OK, then maybe a tie? Some numbers, this video has in a week 30K views. On “I” the promo video to this has 2.2Million views. Joe kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGqYnZmAptRsjLssi=uoKBSl6Suj1ZX6QE .
