The first song I ever heard by Jonny was Lie To Me, the voice and sound of his guitar have had me captivated ever since. I loved seeing him play with Buddy Guy and Keith Richards too.

What an incredibly profound song! I had been searching for this song for a while and even emailed Brian Perez of KWVE (Brian found the song based on what little clues I could give him). This song is done with such passion. It brings images into my mind of the Israelites as they march forward in the wilderness singing this in cadence with a hope of the promised land. Thank you, Mr. Lang for such a beautiful song.

I wasn't all that impressed with him when I saw him about 15 yrs ago or so. He seemed as if he was going thru the motions.I think that he was having a bad night tho. I've seen other performances (live versions) on TV, and he's always been great.

I wished i saw him when he started out lie to me album is still great ad hes played with the tops of blues people. lucky him. I am glad hes still out here playing. very spiritual singer strong and with heart. it goes thru ya . this album is a wee bit different from the rest. the last song singing songs is more like choir song and spiritual . hes great
