Jonny Lang cut his debut album in Memphis when he was just 15, and, upon its release in 1996, the guitar prodigy from Minneapolis instantly became one of the leading lights of modern blues. He's a fast and flashy player whose approach rests equally on technical assurance and musical intelligence. Sizing up a dozen songs, he gets a pleasing, razor-sharp sound out of his ax while building excitement in his lead lines

He is one of the most underrated blues artists. I discovered him and this song about 6 years ago and couldn't believe the talent behind this 17 year old. Timeless! His passion is as strong as his vocals, and I've made him a staple in my Playlist. I hope to see him live one day. 🙏 ❤❤❤ 🙏

Have you heard of Kenny Wayne Shepherd ? Another great guitarist, his debut album he released at age 19 was excellent. Ledbetter Heights is the title
@laurieelle425 Жыл бұрын
@spongebobsquaretits I have heard of him actually. However, another underrated artist where I'm from. Well, Mr. SBST, I just have to admit I'm living in the wrong state. I hope to do something about that sooner rather than later. 😉 Thank you for the reminder of another gem artist. It's been a minute with my broad taste in music.

Johnny my friend….Jesus was a heck of a savior, but who needs guitar strings when that God guy can make himself perfectly solid, no disappearing act is better than the holy person that never gives in until he realizes he just doesn’t like the way you are and knew all along the only way to resolve that was to take lessons from the world famous crystal clear man!!!

I come from a music-loving family, my mom introduced me to this song when I was about 11 or 12, and I love KZbin because I was able to find it again after a long time and it remains one of my favorites. This guy was such an underrated guitarist and singer. He's played with the legends, B.B King and the rest. He still makes music but unfortunately, his website says he is having vocal issues and had to cancel his shows a couple years back. I haven't found anything on him ever since, but that's a damn shame, because his voice here is awesome, and you can tell he feels the music.
