I've always believed Iris's music was too awesome for such a mediocre character; she does practically nothing in all four games she's in - in Black/White, all she does is serve as Bianca's 'bodyguard' (nothing bad occurs), help explain about the cover Legendary, and serve as the final Gym Leader in White. In Black/White 2, where she's the Champion, she only serves to show you where the Castelia Sewers are - that's it. The Sewers could've been found by exploring, or reading signs; she's completely pointless. I would've much preferred Alder remain Champion, really.

If I may be honest, I didn't like the red part, for some reason. I guess I just didn't like the new key. Let's face it, D flat minor is really just perfect for that song. It was still good, just felt weird in that key. I do want to hear an overlay of the gen 1 and 2 champion themes, though.

Amazing job, dude! Every part of the cover was spot-on and captured the tension of the original perfectly, and the transitions were so seamless that they gave me goosebumps every time one happened. As for my personal ranking: 1. Blue (ultimate badass-theme) 2. Red/Lance (super-epic and intimidating all the way through) 3. Steven (makes sure you know you have a hardcore-battle ahead of you) 4. Cynthia (makes her feel superior to you all the way through) 5. Iris (captures the "upstart champion"-feeling perfectly ) 6. Alder (makes you feel like climbing a really tall mountain) 7. Diantha (captures the feeling of "light" perfectly)

Okay. A full synopsis, from beginning to end. Blue: Always good to start off with the theme that started it all. It mirrors your other cover of it, and somehow makes it sound even better. Lance: Honestly, this part is my least favorite of the whole medley, but don't get me wrong, it's still fucking EPIC. I just feel it lacks the "oomph" the other portions had. Still a kick-ass cover, though! Steven (and Wallace): You made me fall in love with this theme. I will admit, neither the original or OR/AS versions really interested me, but your take on it brought to light a new appreciation for this theme. Cynthia: Of COURSE this one would be badass, considering not only was it badass to begin with, but it's YOU who's covering it! It really captures the spirit of the original, and then adds more power to it. Alder: I will admit, I had not heard Alder's theme before this, but whatever it was, you certainly did it more justice than I would have thought. It is actually an interesting theme, now that I think about it. Iris: As SOON as this started, I started crying. Crying tears of absolute and pure bliss, mind you. This is my favorite part of the medley, as I have always taken a liking to Iris' theme, and this cover only made me fall in love with it that much more. Diantha: You somehow managed to make Diantha's theme even more epic, despite her being a rather weak Champion compared to her predecessors. It is quite amazing, though, and this portion was also well done. Overall, this cover is an absolute BEAST. I am glad to bear witness to this greatness.
