Imagine Soma entering the castle of some other lesser dark lord who used to hate being under Dracula's despotic reign under some reason. As Soma enters the castle having fully mastered his powers floating in mid-air like he did in the bad ending of DoS a horde of monsters rush at Soma only to get erased in a split second. And shortly after Soma gazes up a dreadful lighting strikes outside shadowing half of Soma's youthful face making it seem more evil. And then you take control of his movements with this music blasting in the background

Excellent cover. I heard the original track on a playthrough I watched a while ago, and I regret to say I have never played any of the portable Castlevania titles. They really should do a collector's pack for those like they've been doing so far, especially since Aria of Sorrow is notoriously expensive on the secondhand market.
