1984 my father, brother, brother in law and myself where at shady camp. the road in was a 2 wheel track that the property owner used so it was less than dodgy, not the proper dirt road thats there now according to google maps. the concrete crossing thats there now was the natural rock barrier between the fresh and salt. u cud walk across the rock barrier but u had to watch for the big resident croc that lived there at the time and of course u didnt cross wen he was there, unless u r brain dead. how did we know he was there, u cud c him laying on the smallest rock looking towards the main land(they r not stupid). the boat ramp thats there now wasnt, u launched from the bank while the others kept watch and u had to because one late afternoon 2 roos where taken beside the boats. each night a huge herd of buffalo wud come through for water and u heard them coming from a long way off. wen that happened u had to get in the cars cause they wud wonder through the camp and every where else. at that time point stuart buffola meat works not long closed down and we wud drive bak and have the best hot showers u cud ever want, especially wen its days between showers. there where no charters or mother ships and any other thing thats there now except for dirt, flies, buffals, roos, crocs and not many trees, there where lots of barra. cheers.

Best way to wake up EVER! Thanks so much for the new Content, Brooksy! You really get a sense of the Wild when you're stalked by a huge Saltwater Crocodile whilst standing on the Jetty before the Adventure even begins! Stunning scenery and good Fishing Companions on top of incredible Fishing?! PARADISE! I just don't know how you can lean over that water to revive a Fish. Just my imagination but wouldn't a big Salty stalking your Barramundi just relish the chance to Upgrade? Can't wait for the next Episode! This is EPIC! YA LEGEND! Welcome back, Mate! You've been gone too long! But it's worth it!

Gday mate, just a quick question for you which you might not want to answer, with your yeemans how did you find someone to mass produce them? I make hand carved cod lures ( check out my latest vids if interested) which I Can’t keep up with the demand of, I’d love to keep them hand carved but with the amount I’m moving it’s impossible to keep up. If you could point me in the right direction I’d gladly make you a few for bangers which I’m sure they will inhale.

I love that you came north to experience the way we fish up here, but disappointed that you direct all your intros to blokes....there are plenty of women that fish here too & it's a shame you didn't acknowledge that. :(

Hi bel, thanks but I’m a little confused by your comment. Great to know that there is a lot of fisher women up there but it’s a little hard to intro them when every person on our trip was a guy 🤷🏻♂️
