This session is so sick man! I still haven't gotten one on the spoon yet, but I'm so looking forward to my first one soon! Tons of bass around the Canadian Maritimes this time of year, bound to hook one soon!

How do you find spots to fish? Are you on random ledges/ underwater structure that you have never fished before, or are you at ledges/structure that already know to be good, or are you just at random places in the ocean that you marked fish at? I would really appreciate an answer from anyone.

Absolutely fantastic! Wasn’t that long ago that there was a “no take” on stripers and they were few and far between. Just an observation but if you were knocked over into the water your boots would fill with water and pull you down. I’d get a different type of foot gear, I have a pair of hard sole scuba booties, only ankle high with a side zipper they are made to have water pass through them, they work great. Love the videos, especially the commentary when the fish strike!

Thanks man, but between my life jacket and ability to kick off those boots I would be 100% fine if I went in

Maybe crimp your barbs? It's not like you have to haul the fish through the surf. It would make life better for both you and the fish.
@steveg83226 ай бұрын
Cut off one of hook of the treble,doubles hook surer and aren’t as easily tossed by the fish.
