Finally! From beginning to end you showed us the complete perspective of a kayak fisherman from the surf! Well done, Die Hard! This is why your channel is one of the best! 👍

Adam you did it!! Beached your kayak without trouble. You and many of your friends, very skilled kayaker's, have "swamped" (and on videos) beaching kayaks. You expected a tough beaching; but that's WHY those big lings are "STILL" there. Mark that rock pile spot for your future. Getting that big ling is likely because few others have fished there. Another great Die Hard Fishing venture. Try the Sierras??

Wow that was awesome. 3 ling cod. I feel your more Calmer then taku when he pulls up fish from the kayak, like you do it with ease and is so easy and not struggling with it. Very gracefully and easy. Good job Adam

Great vid! I'm planning on doing ocean kayak fishing in the bay area in the near future and wish I watched something like this sooner as I tend to over-do it when getting into something new.

Duuuuude! Yeah I remember my first flip coming back in. Really misjudged the last big wave. Went sideways and the kayak flipped over me. It’s more of a scare than dangerous if you know what to do and don’t panic. One thing I learned was to get on the back of my kayak and if I misjudge a wave I can likely stay upright and “surf” into shore. Just make sure you’re able to easily bail off the back of the yak. Not the side or front. Great content, as usual! Thanks, Adam! Will we see you at the fair this year?

Love it! I've been learning on a 12' ultra basic paddle kayak in the intercoastal, but have yet to beach launch into actual ocean. Great video bringing it back to basics!

If you want big Lingcod, try fishing south of Eureka on what they call the Lost Coast. 25 to 50#ers are very common.

Line fishing is soft. You’d freedive spear that spot if you were a man and few will because of the insane amount of sharks there. They will flip your girly kayak over too.
