I am curious about your training procedure for these videos. For the debaters, are you fine-tuning the public pre-trained versions of these models at all? Or simply prompting it to assume the role you want to give it with no additional training or parameter changes? If you are fine tuning, how do you curate the data with which to fine tune? This could have quite some biasing effect if the data is somehow partial to one side or the other (which is always the case to some extent). Super interesting concept, thanks for the videos!

Very interesting. Never seen an AI debate before. I couldn't help but notice that the pro-Palestine AI was kind of flip flopping between arguments... First arguing that the Israelite statehood did not negate the right of the earlier native groups, making an earlier occupancy argument. Then went on to argue that the displacement of the Israelites and their replacement with an Arab majority gave the Arabs legitimacy over the Israeli claims. Then switched once again, arguing that the displacement of the Arabs and their replacement with a Jewish majority is what undermines the Israeli claims. To me, this inconsistency and double standard, which ironically is consistent with most pro-Palestinian arguments I've heard, is what lost the pro-Palestine side the debate...

In the first round, the Palestinian AI referred to the Palestinians as Cannanites. The Cannanites were ancient pagans who inhabited the land. But what do they have in common with modern-day "Palestinians"? Some DNA? Palestinians are probably not the only people in the Middle East who share these ancient Cannanite genes, including Jews. However, the pro Israel side is talking about JEWS. THE TRUE STORY regarding PALESTINE -Palestine is the land of the Prophets. -Jews have no rights in Palestine -Palestine is for Palestinians -Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine -There is no country of Israel Some of the Prophets who lived in Palestine are: Ibrahim (Abraham) Lot Ishmael Ishaq (Isaac) Ya'qoob (Jacob) Yusuf (Joseph) Daud (David) Solomon Zakariyyah (Zachariah) Yahya (John) {May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon them) Ibrahim(Abraham) has two sons: 1. Ismael 2. Isaac Isaac's son was Jacob(Ya'qoob) where most of the Prophets came from his lineage such as Yusuf(Joseph),Daud(David),Sulaiman(Solomon),Zakariyyah(Zacarias),Musa(Moses) and Yahya (John). The second name of Prophet Ya'qoob(Jacob) is ISRAEL so his clans are called BANU ISRAEL(Son's of Israel). Also, accordingly, ISRAEL means Abdullah (servant of Allah). But the tribe of Israel has been known for disobedience and stubbornness where they oppose and kill their own Prophets sent to them except for a small number them, this is how the Quran describes them. Among their disobedience are: -They disobeyed Prophet Solaiman (Solomon) -They disobeyed Prophet Musa (Moses) -They disobeyed Prophet Eisa (Jesus) -They killed Prophet Yahya (John) -They killed Prophet Zacariah (Zacarias). THAT'S WHY ALLAH PUNISHED THEM. THEIR PUNISHMENT IS THAT, THEY WOULD HAVE NO LAND IN THIS WORLD EXCEPT THOSE WHO BELIEVE. What happened to them for several centuries is that wherever they ended up in the middle east after the time of Prophet Eisa (Jesus), others went to Europe and America. In World War II between the years 1941 and 1945 the Holocaust occurred where nearly 6 million Jews died in Europe at the hands of Adolf Hitler of Germany. The reason for Adolf Hitler's great anger towards the Jews is about politics and religion where the Jews believe that people who do not belong to them are animals or the lowest creatures, because they believe that they are the chosen people who chosen by Allah, so Hitler did this to them. They only got land in Palestine because GREAT BRITAIN took pity on them where it was recommended to the UNITED NATIONS and the UN immediately received it in the year 1947, because the Jews also served for a long time in Great Britain. In the following year (1948) the Zionist Jews immediately declared their own country in Palestine which they called ISRAEL where it seemed as if they only arrived in Palestine as refugees until they gradually expanded their land to conquer in the lands of the Palestinians in a violent and forced way, at the same time they gathered all the Jews around the world where before they would have been scattered because of the punishment of Allah. This is where the Arab countries intervened and there was a war that has not ended until now between the JEWS and the ARABS. Apart from this conflict, the Jews also do not respect the Arabs because they believe that they are the only believers, so they did not believe in Prophet Muhammad SAW and it was easy for them to kill Arab Muslims. Why? Prophet Ismael, the brother of Prophet Isaac, is the son of Hajar, the second wife of Prophet Ibrahim, who used to be the maid of Sarah, who was the mother of Prophet Isaac, the first wife of Prophet Ibrahim (according to their history). And after the reign of the clans of Isaac in which the last Prophet among them was Prophet Eisa (Jesus), Allah gave this promise to the clan of Prophet Ismael where the last prophet and Messenger would come from his clan. Prophet Muhammad SAW. Because the last Prophet did not come from the family of Isaac, the Jews did not believe, believing that Prophet Ismael was inferior compared to their ancestor, Prophet Isaac, the son of Prophet Ibrahim's first wife, besides that, they really are people who disobeys, even to the early Prophets. In other words, the ongoing conflict between Jews and Arab Muslims is about religion and history. Palestine is a place of Arab Muslims, and the believers in the clans of Israel, it does not include those who disobey, they are not among in the promise of Allah. There are three existing religions in Palestine: 1. Judaism 2. Christianity 3. Islam WHY ARE THE CHRISTIANS IN PALESTINE NOT INCLUDED IN THE ENEMY OF THE PALESTINIAN MUSLIMS? Christians are not like Jews, where Jews are worse but they are the same race, Jews also consider Christians as enemies because they did not really believe in Prophet Eisa (Jesus), they are the ones who accused Mary committing adultery (Zina) and Prophet Eisa (Jesus) was a child of zina (adultery), so a great miracle happened from Allah where Prophet Eisa spoke when he was a baby to refute what the Jews were saying and prove the innocence of his mother. WHY DO THEY WANT TO TAKE JERUSALEM WHERE MASJID AL-AQSA IS LOCATED? They believe that here is the very temple of Prophet Solaiman that was destroyed and replaced by masjeds, so this is what they want to restore from its original, but if you go back to history and the books you will not find any solid evidence about the temple that they claim. Rather, the Masjid Al-aqsa is the one that was built by Prophet Adam and rebuilt by Prophet Solaiman. And they have no right to it because they also disobeyed Prophet Solaiman as we mentioned.

That is why my grandparents came here and why I was born here. If any Palestinian wishes to have two states sharing this land peacefully - I am all for it. But seeing reality ( I highly recommend Corey Gil Shuster's KZbin videos), I am under the impression they don't want peaceful coexistence, so we hold our ground.

There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.’” (Sahih Bukhari 4:52:177; see also Sahih Bukhari 4:52:176; Sahih Muslim 41:6985)

Actually, according to the Canaanite origin theory, the Hebrews emerged from the broader Canaanite culture during the Late Bronze Age, sharing cultural similarities before forming their own distinct identity and monotheistic religion. This shows that Palestinians are not Canaanites, as their ancestry is a mix of different populations, including Arabs who arrived during the 7th-century Islamic conquests. While Palestinians, like other people from the Levant, may carry some Canaanite genetic admixture, they do not have a direct cultural or ethnic connection to the ancient Canaanites. The Canaanites as a distinct group no longer exist, having been absorbed by various civilizations over thousands of years. In contrast, modern Jews have a direct ancestral lineage to the ancient Israelites.
@abd_md15 күн бұрын
Are you saying that the Palestinians who themselves have a substantial amount of jewish blood in them, are less entitled to the land than the jews from europe? Do you think the jews that come from europe and even the rest of the middle east are pure ancient hebrew or something? They are mixed if not more mixed.
@SleepyBoi-b5q15 күн бұрын
@@bingbong3643 Israelis (except Mitzrahi) all derive from European. There genetics are to distinct to be considered as Caanites or ancient Israelites. For example I’m Lebanese. But my genetics are to far to call me a Phoenician even though I am the descendent of them.
@bingbong364315 күн бұрын
@@abd_md You’re contradicting the pro-Pali argument in this video by claiming that Palestinians are partially of Jewish descent while simultaneously asserting that they are pure descendants of the Canaanites. These two assertions are inconsistent and mutually exclusive. Yes, genetic studies do show overlaps between Jews, Arabs, and ancient Levantine populations, but these findings do not confirm that Palestinians are direct descendants of Canaanites or Israelites. Instead, these studies highlight a shared ancient ancestry, not exclusive lineage. On the other hand, Modern Jewish populations, despite diaspora dispersal, maintain distinct genetic markers (e.g., Y-chromosomal haplogroups like J1 and J2) closely tied to ancient Israelites, which is more direct evidence of continuous identity.
@bingbong364315 күн бұрын
@@SleepyBoi-b5q This isn’t accurate. Genetic studies show that Jewish populations, including Ashkenazi Jews, maintain significant Levantine ancestry, tracing back to the ancient Israelites and broader Levantine populations, including the Canaanites. Despite centuries of dispersion, these Jewish communities retain distinct genetic markers linked to the Levant. While Ashkenazi Jews have intermixed with European populations over time, the genetic impact is not so extensive as to erase their Levantine roots. As the studies show about 50% of the Ashkenazi Jewish genome can be traced to the Levant, with the remainder coming from European populations. As for your example, it actually works in my favor. Genetic markers specific to the Levant, including those from the Phoenicians, can still be traced in modern Lebanese populations. This is similar to how Jewish populations maintain genetic ties to the Levant despite centuries of migration and mixing. The idea that you cannot call yourself a descendant of the Phoenicians because of more recent intermingling doesn’t negate this. Moreover, there’s no such thing as an “ancient Palestinian.” Palestinians today are primarily just Arabs, and their ethno-genesis occurred in the Arabian Peninsula, not in the land of Canaan like the Israelites or Phoenicians. The historical identity of the “Palestinian" as it is understood today is a modern construct, shaped by the sociopolitical context of the 20th century, rather than a continuation of a specific ancient lineage like the Israelites or Phoenicians. Get it?
@SleepyBoi-b5q14 күн бұрын
@ Firstly I would like to congratulate you for being one of the most knowledgeable Israeli debaters I have ever met. Most of the people I discuss always have the same argument with the same mindset and are always very arrogant. The Palestinians derived from the ancient Caanite genetics and the Arab gene coming to them in circa 630-640 via the Rashidun caliphate. Keep in mind that some Israelites had stayed there despite the eons of none Israeli rule. Most of these people have changed their religion and stayed there whereas only a handful of Jews in the region actually retained their religion.

Obviously if you do your history you will know Palestine is, was and always will be Jewish land. The Jews lived in modern day Palestine for thousands of years before the Arab invaders annexed it. Before that, Israel was apart of the Roman Empire and when they tried rebelling against the empire they were expelled from their land and forced to migrate to different places. As for the name Palestine, it is derived from the name Philistine which was a hostile group of people who migrated to Israel and their name literally means hostile. Then about 600 years later the Arabs took Palestine and settled it. Arabs never lived in Israel (at least not in great multitudes) until Muhammad colonised the Christian Middle East and subjugated any remaining Jews and Christians who wouldn't convert or didn't become slaves. The Palestinians are on stolen land. The "we were promised that land 3000 years ago" argument doesn't work when the Jews were living there already.
@ahmedsultan493911 күн бұрын
The first people to inhabit that land were the Canaanites, the ancestors of the Arabs of the Levant, including the current Palestinians, and they have been living in that land for 5,500 years. While the Zionists, many of them are of Ashkenazi Jewish origin who lived near Turkey (and they are non-Semitic), including Safadai Jews and African Jews, all of whom have no historical connection to that land. Even the Prophet Jacob was originally from Babylon, present-day Iraq, and had no connection to the land of Canaan, except that he immigrated there and died there, and did not even rule it. Have you not read the Balfour Declaration of 1917, which stipulated that Palestine be made a land for the Jews after the Europeans gave the Jews a choice between five lands (Argentina, Uganda, Madagascar, a state in Russia, and Palestine), and the religious Jews knew that the Zionist movement was against the Jewish religion, which stipulated that it should not be for the Jews? A country, but the founders of the Zionist movement were able to convince the majority of world Jews that Palestine is the promised land for them, and they played on the religious method to convince European Jews to settle in Palestine

And who's name is on the Balfour Declaration? Lord R0ths.child! So basically the British Empire and the United States were used as host bodies for endoparasites to achieve their plans.

What most people don't understand is that it doesn't matter whose rightful land it is and who has a better claim. At the end of the day Israel holds it by military might (ie Right of Conquest) which all those who came before them used including Arabs. So unless they can be militarily defeated, all these debates are useless. But defeating them is really unrealistic since they even have nukes now. So at the end of the day a diplomatic two state solution remains the only realistic one.
@ryderwilson795518 күн бұрын
With that logic, considering Palestine rejects defeat, they should all be exiled from the West Bank and Gaza strip, considering their objection to peace talks and a want to compromise on the right of return
@Me-pt7ik18 күн бұрын
A two state solution is unrealistic. There is going to be a one state solution after Israel gets rid of all the Christians and muslims
@AndreyKrichevsky17 күн бұрын
The only problem with a two state solution is that it's not a solution. It's the problem. It's what the Palestinians are fighting against. Many people see the two states concept as a compromise between the two sides, but it's actually a victory for Israel and a defeat for the Palestinians... Because Israel's main objective is to exist, and Palestine's main objective of to have all of Palestine under Arab Muslim rule.

At the end of the day, having Jews in the region is not the issue at all. It’s that they’re backed by imperial powers who want to control more resources globally, and they don’t care that the Jewish population are the ones getting their hands dirty. I wish it could just be like the Vatican where it’s non-military and shared between Palestinians, 1948 refugees, and Jewish people, and that could lead to a natural co existence with Jews and Arabs.

Who has historical claim over the land is MOOT. What matters is millions live in the land and they have to peacefully coexist. One group, on numerous occasion in the past, has offered to split and share the land, but the other group, on numerous occasions, rejected the offer and insists its views to exterminate the former. I say historical claim is moot because displacing millions of people just to uphold the claim is neither practical, realistic, nor beneficial to anybody. And if historical claim is an enforceable right to evict an established nation, then the USA will have to leave the contiguous USA and give back the land to native americans.

TLDR One huge mistake that was made was the title of the debate because there was no unique Palestinian identity until the creation of the PLO in 1964. During the mandate period when the British ruled the only people who considered themselves Palestinians (loosely speaking) were the Jews. Hence the Palestine Post (a Jewish newspaper - now called the Jerusalem Post). Not all of the Jews considered themselves Palestinian though as it was always considered the land of Israel to a religious Jew (which is why on the mandate coins the Hebrew letters ( אי) Aleph Yod which were the initials for Erez Yisrael or the Land of Israel appeared. The Arabs considered the mandated territory to be the southern part of Bilad al-Sham (Greater Syria). So really if we re-phrased this to Jews Vs Arabs: Who's Land? It would have made more sense.

You must not know what “Sharia” is. It’s an anti-Christian law which has suppression of Christianity built into it & it’s the basis for what you call Palestine & most of the Middle East. So no they (The Arabs) need to be deported to the other 20 somethings Arab states, their rule is a disgrace to the holy land. Only 2 state solution I support there would be the division of the land between Christians (The Real Jews) & those who consider themselves Jews today. The Arab Christians can stay the rest of the Arabs got to go.
@ryderwilson795518 күн бұрын
So did Israel support a two state policy, the problem is, you can't really force a peace on the Palestinians, they're not interested in it. They will never give up on the right of return into proper Israel as Israeli citizens, causing a massive demographic shift, making Jews a minority in their own state, a minority to a predatory majority who will seek "revenge" on them, possibly exiling all of the Jews through democratic and majority rule means. Because of that, it's hypocritical to judge and blame Israel for the lack of peace, while Palestinians continuously showed unwillingness to compromise and peace where both Jews and Palestinians live alongside each other.
@KronoKing18 күн бұрын
Here’s the thing tho. The Palestinians have never come to the table with their own proposal. Other than we want it all and you get nothing, which is a non starter. They never once counter offered any of the numerous Israeli proposals. Matter of fact when Arafat rejected the last offer he launched the second intafada killing scores of innocent Israeli civilians-which disincentivized Israel from further offers of statehood. Every offer has been rejected and met with violence. Which is why I believe this isn’t about land or statehood. It’s a religious war. Where was Palestinian “resistance” when Gaza was occupied by Egypt for 19 years? Or when Jordan occupied the West Bank for the same amount of time? You know why there wasn’t “resistance”? Because Egypt and Jordan are Muslim countries. If Israel were a muslim country there wouldn’t be a conflict. If it was about self determination and statehood they would’ve at least counter offered, but they didn’t. They just went right to violence. And it’s because Islam Hates Jews and us infidels, that’s the hard truth.

A couple of facts that never get mentioned are firstly the "Nakba", what the arabs referred to as the nakba at the time was the catastrophe of them losing the 1948 war even though there were 5 nations against tiny Israel, the 700,000 arabs that were living there weren't ethnically cleansed like you are lead to believe, they were told to move by the arab nations that attacked, they were also told they will be back in their homes in 2 weeks when Israel was destroyed, well they lost that war and every war they have subsequently started. Secondly there were approximately 850,000 Jews that WERE ethnically cleansed from the surrounding arab nations with nothing more than they could carry and the clothes on their backs during the 1930/40's that made up most of the early population of Israel.

The Jews Got exiled from their land because of imperialism when the Jews regained the right to return home marks the end of imperialism as we would see for the next 50 or so years countries occupied by imperialists and Colonialists would start to withdraw from these territories, at least some of them. Obviously not the larger countries such as Australia, United States, Canada and big parts of the middle and South America.

THE TRUE STORY regarding PALESTINE -Palestine is the land of the Prophets. -Jews have no rights in Palestine -Palestine is for Palestinians -Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine -There is no country of Israel Some of the Prophets who lived in Palestine are: Ibrahim (Abraham) Lot Ishmael Ishaq (Isaac) Ya'qoob (Jacob) Yusuf (Joseph) Daud (David) Solaiman (Solomon) Zakariyyah (Zachariah) Yahya (John) {May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon them) Ibrahim(Abraham) has two sons: 1.

If one pressures Hamas to return hostages and surrender instead of making excusing for them and letting them re-group and re-arm the war can stop in a day. It really is that simple and no one has to die.

So do you know that you cannot become israeli as a palestinian even right wing fanatics like the so called son of hamas is not even israeli despite being the most outspoken pro israeli and collaborator. Did you know that even converting to judaism doesnt even allow Palestinians in? Do you know that the reason is distinctly stated as maintaining the jewish majority? That is literally an arguement used against jews and other races, same as south africa.

Almost 20% of Israelis are Muslims.

First of all, there are 2 million Palestinians living in Israel. The Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza don't need to go anywhere. They simply need leaders who will recognize the State of Israel and stop attacking it all the time. They have been offered a state many times and they have refused.

Where is this data from? The curent palestinians are arab descendants that came and colonized the area from arabia in 6-7 century, and there are no any pre bc artifacts confirming otherwise.

I think the answer is simpler when you look at the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It is obvious that neither side as a sovereign group wins. In a nutshell, if all of Israel's weapons were to disappear tomorrow, what would be its fate? On the other hand, if all of Hamas' weapons were to disappear, what would be the fate of Gaza?

Why is this being dignified as a question? Israel is a SOVEREIGN STATE. Ratified by the UN and everything. KZbin, college kids, and anybody else does not get a vote. We don't debate the sovereignty of Bulgaria. Even this question is highly inappropriate.

@@xescv no the comment is correct. Pakistan's legitimacy is never questioned despite that fact that it's creation caused the displacement of 15 million people and slaughter of 1 million. Are we supposed to deny the existence of Pakistan?

Because that's how debates work - two sides argue opposing views.
