Love mine. Rode all over California and Oregon, then back to Texas. Never a problem.

Nelson Rigg also makes some soft bags similar to these and the Thrashin bags. Also worth mentioning it’s probably a good idea to spray textile bags down with some scotch guard for weatherproofing 👍

Whiskey bottles are what I judge saddle bags for. With mine and a top bag I can haul 2 cases of the 1.75 liters. Important in a dry county surrounded by dry counties. Always cool to see your vids, Jon.

I'd much rather use saddle or sissy bar bags than a back pack. Good review.👍🏻😎

Sweet sweet intro. I put a Hardcase on my SM and don’t care for it. ( handy for commuting to work ) These easy on easy off look boss. But I don’t see these for a SM.

Seems a little high for bags that small? I think if I’m gonna put saddlebags on my sportster (and I am gonna) I want them to be able to carry some stuff! If you’re gonna do it then just do it. Those are so small I don’t know how useful they would actually be? Especially for the $.

I gotta 2016 FXDLS... Same exhaust. Have you has issues with the exhaust bracket or mounting tabs on the muffler? I have broken the bracket, they sent a new one.. Now the mounts on the muffler are breaking, and the clamp that holds the muffler on has broken twice. Nothing but problems!

Great video man. Quick question I'm 17 and am working hard in school. I want to get a street bob after college. What should I get as a first bike to learn on? Yamaha, dirtbike, pit bike... not sure but am open to your thoughts and anyone elses. Thanks
@E32-o1j3 жыл бұрын
Have you ever rode dirtbikes before or a quad or anything like that? If you have some previous experience with bikes and or quads, i would say get a sportster and ride it for a season or two, learn alot, and then when you feel ready go ahead and get a street bob. Because if you’ve never rode anything before and are just starting to learn, you will drop the bike most likely, or atleast fuck something up… and you dont wanna mess up a nice street bob that you spend alot of money on. So if i were you, get a fairly cheap sportster thats in good condition, ride it and learn, sell it and get a street bob
@Codi3000gt3 жыл бұрын
My first bike is a Streetbob. I had no issues learning on it.
@warrencook93403 жыл бұрын
@@E32-o1j Never ridden any kind of dirtbike before. Thanks for the advice. Don't want to spend 15k and drop the thing so a cheap or used Sportster sounds like a good idea. Thanks

@@leehelppie4544 they are... Ridiculous that these and thrashin supply charge $275-$350 for nylon, velcro and a zipper. They cost nothing in material and honestly not a lot of manufacturing into it
