@marceybullКүн бұрын
I dont think you all get it ... She seems to want us all to love the game, for the game ... She appreciates her fans, IMO. She doesn't want fans to "stand up" for her against someone else on a personal level. She grew up with three brothers, she's an adult and she can take care of herself. Not to mention she has been a fan of the WNBA for along time and knows how it rolls ... (I do think she was a bit hard on Ms. Brennan, the journalist, tho) ... ... Signed, an Iowa native/grad and newbie Fever fan.

@noragriffin6432Күн бұрын
It is not gaslighting, it is self preservation. She still wants to play in the WNBA in 2025, with as much peace and harmony as she can muster. I've never witnessed this much sabatage in sports in my 6+ decades of life. It was worse than T. Hardings' attack on N. Kerrigan. If you hate me that much, then everybody line up at the same time, throw your punches, and let's get it over with once and for all. Even if I know you are going to beat the spit out of me, that's how I personally prefer it, face to face, no surprises, no sneak attacks. And it is not a natural part of the game. We've all seen batters check their swing at the plate, golfers stop their swing 2/3s of the way through a drive, etc. and on and on. 17% of all flagrant fouls that were called, 'called' being the operative word, on 1 player was no accident. I call it a concerted effort.

@noragriffin643220 сағат бұрын
@@michelleanyaehie9089 She absolutely is a good person. In every sense. What has happened to her in her rookie season is totally foreign and utterly baffling to her. Because to treat someone like she has been treated is not in her nature. And I pray it never is. I watched that game on t.v. like I did all season. Because I worked in the eyecare field all my life, I watched her very closely after the incident. I realized she had not been seriously injured. But..... she was changed, not herself. I summit to you that for the first time she was truly afraid. She saw her life and career flash before her eyes. And no, I am not being overly dramatic. Some things you will not learn in books, but only through experience and living life. I am pushing towards my 7th decade of life. A lot of experience there. No one should promote this kind of behavior, especially on young people. It is not a path to positive change, but only destruction.

What I'm surprised about is, nobody talks about the staggering cost to the league, if Carrington had succeeded in ending Clark's career. Clark brought all this newfound popularity to the league -- the sold-out venues, the merch sales, the TV ratings, the millions it's pumped into the local economies, the elevation of the sport beyond its wildest dreams... POOF -- all gone. That's why Carrington should have been kicked out of the league -- look at what she almost did. Instead, all she got was famous.

First, she was supposed to be trying to slap the balls, folding her folding fingers, you're taking away 3 inches of and if you hit the ball there a chance of breaking your finger. That fold of is very unnatural. And hitting her then she pushed her to the floor, that was a that was foul also. The the film frame by frame makes it so obvious she look right at her in the swing, plus the ball was already passing her head. When her hand hit her she or anyone would know instantly know. That was a foul also both wear in the air. Make a rule about to charge the player pay for all of damage and loss of money to the team for fragrant 2. That the owner loss of revenue.

I don’t want the drama or add anymore to the drama or play into peoples has to try to cause more problems. I do not blame Clark for wanting to take her time off. I would do the same thing if I was in her shoes so I could work in the gym and build myself up and have a little time off specially when I played basketball for almost complete year and didn’t have any time off I’d want a little time off to decompress before my next season of basketball starts and like she said, it gives her time to work in the gym and to work out by herself and other people that will help her to better herself in area. She knows she needs to get a little better in.
