The more I find out about this movie, the more I want to know. They interviewed the actors, and they said it was actually very frustrating, because they'd try to deliver the lines naturally, or, you know, just in any way that didn't sound like it was being said by the meat-puppet of a cyber-alien, but the director/creator would stop them and INSIST they delivered the lines that way. So I did some research on this movie after watching it. ---There is a sequel, with the director Ngyuen hoping for a third. ---Ngyuen wrote a book that was published a year after the movie came out explaining how he came upmwith the movie, and he's obviously convinced himself that the movie is a cult classic. ---Thankfully, Ngyuen has only ever made two movies (both Birdemic). ---User reviews on IMDb rate the movie at 1.4/10. ---It is voted the 5th worst movie of all time. Trolls 2 was 25th. ---The reviews on IMDb were more entertaining than the movie itself, though to be fair the reviews were genuinely entertaining. I highly suggest reading them. ---While I don't drink, one of the reviews had an awesome drinking game as well, which included drink ehen the main character walks funny and again when the audio cuts out.

There's a reason the title starts with the letter "a" or even a number (like the 1313 series from the same director), so it's listed early. Basically people don't know what to watch so they order that movie. The director, David DeCoteau (he used a pseudonym for this title) has over 100 movies under his belt, and they've all made money.

You see, to appreciate the film Birdemic: Shock and Terror, you need to pay attention to the subtle nuance. For example, the people in the film seem to be trying to prevent global warming (which causes the birds to exist). You can see this by the guy who installs solar panels in the main characters. It foreshadows the global warming explanation with the polar ice caps news reporter.
