fun fact, a lot of these are canadian. like that one with the puppets in the alleyway. canada had a weird phase in the early 2000s of making strange, liminal-feeling PSAs for just about everything. the North American House HIppo is another example of a weird canadian PSA

It was a PSA attached to the old Super Mario Brothers Super Show from the late 80's. The Late Captain Lou Albano played Mario (voiced him in the cartoon and played him in live action wrap around segments). The first time I smoked, I even doubted that anything was happening at all. I simply had the wrong expectations. Granted it wasnt great cannabis and I definitely felt more than at the start, but its still not comparable to the feeling of being slightly drunk. And you just know alcohol is pure poison as soon as you wake up the next day
