Love mine. Came in at 8.0 oz. Out of the box played great. Added tungsten to different spots. Neck, upper neck and 3 and 9 o’clock. Found only 3 and 9 was more power and more stable. I think because twist weight is low. Now at 8.3 oz and it’s a weapon.

I’ve gotten 3 now every single one has been rattling. A little ridiculous for a $300 paddle.

Have you also hit with the Magnus to compare? I've only hit with the Magnus which is McGuffin's paddle and liked it but want to try this Perseus as well to compare.

Yes, the Magnus is worse at drives but faster at the net. I just prefer the longer handle because I feel that it allows for more versatile play.

my chip isnt working any tips?

Depending on what phone you are using it may not work. When testing with some friends I found that iPhone 11 and below the chip does not work. Not sure about 12 and 13 but 14 and 15 will work. Also not sure about android devices.

Try with a friends phone. If still not working contact Joola. For the price point they need to 100% stand behind their product.

@winnie3257 Some phones you need to access the settings and enable the NFC Chip reader. For IPhones you just need to tap and hold on the of handle... with Android you have to hover towards the upper half of the handle. Other than that, if it's not reading, the paddle might be fake or a QC issue. Hopefully that works out.

For me the Hyperion, though a lot of people are liking the Scorpeus in Gen 3 much more than the previous generation.
