Joolca HOTTAP & Ensuite Review Part 2

Taking a hot shower while living on the road or camping remotely has been a pipe dream of mine. Until now. Joolca now offers the HOTTAP v2. This portable on-demand hot water heater can provide 122F water to the shower or sink from any water source. And I can't wait to pack this up on our next adventure.

I suppose you could always add some slatted decking to keep your feet off the floor and if you attached a light to the frame over the skylight you could shower in the dark if needed. Good series of reviews. I have only just discovered the Hot Tap, living in the UK having a warm shower when living outdoors is a bit of a welcome luxury. It makes a change from Scottish Lochs and streams.

I use the side opening you called a pass thru. To but my shower head thru. I never bend all the way down to put it thru the bottom pass thru. No need to. I also put the shower head on the side clip. So the water hits me more like it does at home. Not a big fan from the top down. So I assuming they just give people options.

So I’m assuming that the D batteries that joolca says it uses powers only the main body heater and that a external 12v power source is always required to run the pump?

Hi awesome video. Looking to purchase e th is set up without tent however I guess I’m not understanding what the set up part is for the pump is that just a battery ? Is there clips on the pump that hook to a battery

Tell me about the gold zero yetty 500 you use for your battery source, do you need any special connection devices to connect to your Joolca products? I just ordered this for my husband to use at his privative cabin as a Christmas present. I want to make sure I have everything he needs as soon as he opens it.

Are you able to adjust the temperature of the water? You kept referring to hot water. How do you make it not too hot?
