Have you tried following along with the book? I’ve always said I would never do audiobooks or ebooks, but having the physical book and listening to someone read at the same time is amazing.

@Ruby R that's an interesting concept, but I don't know if I could do that either. I'm a fast reader, and I think I would get frustrated. Also, I kind of feel like what's the point?.. If you have the physical copy and have already sat down to read it.. just read it, unless you have some physical limitations that could make reading more difficult.

I can only listen while I'm doing mundane chores around the house that don't require thought, like mainly when I do the dishes or am organizing something, crafts as well things like that. Otherwise I pass right out as well 😆

Your videos always make me happy. My moon is in Capricorn, making me feel even more depressed and sleepy. I can't read or concentrate. I also have been having nightmares, I dreamt I was lost in this big warehouse, and I could not find my dog and cat! It was awful. I'm a widow and breast cancer survivor. Depression and anxiety is terrible and I'm on meds for both. I can't imagine how worse I would feel with out my meds. Even when good things come your way, your mind keeps you from feeling the joy of life. I haven't felt real joy in many years. I should be feeling very happy because this October I will become a grandmother!! I hope this funk will soon be gone. I have so many blessings to look forward to.

I needed this today. I needed you today. Ugh, I miss you so much. 😔 First, I'm super excited for you and how much you read!! I'm happy you read a 5-star book, but it sucks that the rest of the books were kind of lackluster. 😬 I'm crossing my fingers that "The Priory of the Orange Tree" is a great read for you, too! 🍊🐲🌳 Thank you for supporting me and the read-a-thon; you're amazing and the bestest, best friend anyone could possibly ask for. 🥰 Secondly, I'm proud of you for recognizing your depression and actively trying to do something about it. It's not easy, and I hope you're able to find something, whether that be medication or something therapeutic, that can help you feel better. 💛 I love you, and never forget to put yourself first. I've also been struggling with my mental health lately, but I haven't been super upfront about it. Your videos always inspire and encourage me to be kind to myself. 💕 Thank you for always reminding us, your sheepies (🐏🐏 lol), that we are worthy and beautiful. 🌻

Same on the depression. Most days if I have something to keep me busy, I don’t think about it much. But if it’s a slow day, it really hits me and it sucks. Such a Meh feeling and you just feel disgusting both mentally and physically. Sometimes I don’t have time to feel it because of my babies, but still. If you’re reading this and you are on anti depressants.. is it worth being on medication? I’m scared of pills.

I don't buy new books often but when I do I go to Waterstones (our version of Barnes and Noble). It's so hard to find horror books because there's no separate horror section. They put horror in the Fantasy/Science Fiction section (well my local shop does, not sure about others). It's annoying
