@JohnDoe-fi2ot3 жыл бұрын
hate to disappoint you, but as a Magic Fan, this is what we’ve been saying for several years.. His actions speak other than his words. He talks defense but he doesn’t pride himself on it.. He wants to be an offensive star and a celebrity. That’s his biggest problem imo. It didn’t help that he had little accountability in Orlando and that coaches like Vogel had said he can be like PG 13… I like Denver as well and hope he can do that for you. I doubt it though. But people will always believe in his „upside“. How long has he been in the league though? At this point, he is who he is. Solid on Defense, not great and flashy on offense. Can get hot on some nights but then he will kill you the other game because he is over confident and he’ll chuck up shots
@leealvin1213 жыл бұрын
@@JohnDoe-fi2ot I am no hater on the magic but he wasn’t in a good situation there. Andddd bad situation messes with motivation and work ethic. When he got traded he looked like he turned a new leaf over but we shall see
@Konata6153 жыл бұрын
@@JohnDoe-fi2ot Based on what you said you’ve not really seen him with the Nuggets, if anything the concern is that he’s way too passive and uninvolved on offense. He wanted the ball in his hands and wasn’t successful in Orlando, but that’s a non-issue in his new role. It’s the opposite that was happening.
@JohnDoe-fi2ot3 жыл бұрын
@@leealvin121 He came into the league with that mentality… Only thing that is able to save him is that Jokic and Murray are the clear leaders of this team. Followed by MPJ maybe.. AG is forced to stay in his lane.. But the argument was about his defense. And he has never shown that mentality on the court. He talks like he prides himself on defense, but he doesn’t do it consistently. He gets beat Back door so often. There is a reason several Magic coaches withdrew him from opponents best players..
@AgentFroy3 жыл бұрын
@@JohnDoe-fi2ot AG don't gotta do much when the Nuggets already got players who generate points. If AG can focus on his strengths and make a play from time to time is all the Nuggets need. In Orlando they expected him to do everything which is asking too much and just not realistic to make it to the playoffs. Only players like Lebron, and Lebron still needs help to get there. AG prob needed time to grow and the expectations from Orlando weren't letting him do that, AG got more of his own space in the Nuggets where he can work on his own pace, no huge expectation but def still needs to play right and not make mistakes.
