I am so hyped up to see this kid playing for us in the future. Really hope we can lock him up and he stays in LA for a long time. He's been the one and only good thing in this absolute horrible season. HUGE steal at pick #46, best PG in the draft, and the 2nd best rookie this year. I may be a little biased cause I'm a Lakers fan and he's already one of my favorite players but I think it's fair to say he's been the 2nd best rook. Take his numbers from games he's started and they're great. His numbers are inflated a bit because he plays on such a shitty team but I still think he's a great player. Real excited to have him in our future.

Great potential! Steve Nash is grooming him a bit too with private workouts. He is good for the Lakers. Hopefully he develops more so. Who knows, maybe he has that DNA Kobe wants to see before he hands off the baton. Only time will tell.

He's the future of Lakers. Tough rookie season for him, he shows he can go up against the like of deron, manu, rose, paul, irving and other big names in the NBA. Unafraid of contacts, no hesitation to make/create shots, fast, high flyer, maybe not so much of handles, but got the balls. Definitely an all star caliber player. Lakers just won the lottery!!!!

dontcatchnosleep alot of guys slip because of the smallest things. For Clarkson, it was his height and his ability to transition. Drafts are always risky. That's why alot of the top players are from the mid to late 1st rounds or 2nd and 3rd rounds, they are the overlooked talent who take longer to develop but if developed correctly then they become great.

Lakers have a bright future with Clarkson, Randle, and Okafor/Anthony-Towns. They have to make a splash though in free agency this summer. Small forward is their biggest weakness, so they should make an all out pitch to Kawhi Leonard. If they miss out on him then they should go after Demarre Carroll. If they do somehow get Kawhi this summer and Kobe stays healthy, they'll be a legitimate contender next season.
