There was no better way to handle this and he’s honest and as considerate as he understood how. It takes some strength to actually tell someone straight i am not sure about you or into you. I wanted Annaliese to find love too. She was obviously ready to settle down but people are going to like who they like. And look how it turned out for him after that season. Jenna left him and he went back to Paradise the following season to re-discover love, but got messed up when he involved himself in another guy's love triangle. Things didn't go well for Annaliese either when she went back to Paradise to find love again because after the show, that young handsome guy she got was not really serious and was just there for career purposes.
