What people fail to understand is that when you’re a people pleaser. You force yourself to be whatever that person asks for regardless if that’s what you want or not. No one gave Colton a chance not to be with Tia. Tia didn’t give him a chance to not be with Tia. Him being the nice guy that he is he felt like he had to try. But in the end he realized he was forcing it and he did something about it. That shouldn’t be seen as him being indecisive. If anything he’s finally being real with himself and with Tia and knows that him trying to be happy when he’s not won’t work out. As a people pleaser myself I know how hard that is especially when the last thing you want to do is hurt someone else.

He is a people pleaser, he hates disappointing others. He wanted to make her happy and wade it out to see if he could develop those feelings because she is such a great girl but it just wasn’t there. I think it was brave of him to be honest with her now and not keep going and acting like there would be more. With time he will get better at acknowledging his feelings sooner without fear of hurting others. But this is a start. This is very relatable. Sometimes you meet wonderful people but you just don’t feel anything for them and that’s reality. Regardless he is still a Good guy. And then them both going on BIP for this drama meant the same thing. Colton probably went fishing for bonus points for Bachelor's spot. He does come off as very sweet guy, so it worked well, he'll probably will be it.

I feel like Tia was only worrying about what she wanted and putting her wants and needs first before considering Colton. It seems like she felt her feelings and desires and hopes were most important in that relationship which is why she didn’t notice when he wasn’t into her and wrote him off as being indecisive and made him seem like the bad guy for “hurting her by changing his mind” when it was never about her getting hurt, it was about him standing up for himself

Pat Samuel I don’t think he liked her... she begged him to give it a chance. He did and now he’s telling her the truth. He’s not messing with her at all, he’s been honest from the beginning. Everyone was really pushing him to get into the relationship with Tia, especially Tia herself! They kept rushing him to decide, but clearly the fact that he was hesitant and indecisive is because of literally THIS, he clearly knew he wasn't feeling IT but he gave it a shot anyway because thats what everyone begged him to do. And he did it, he tried. And when nothing changed, he was honest and told her this isn't working out. The level of communication and compassion he has shown is amazing. Really wish people wouldn't jump on his ass just because he didn't fall in love with her. Everyone asks for honesty on this show and then gets angry when the honest answer isn't what they were hoping for.

I kind of knew this is coming, it’s too bad that they broke up but gave it a try. Though I have to say I admire most is his being upfront and honest with his feelings in the most respectful way. It was the sweetest breakup I have ever seen and the most loving, caring way too! Breakups don’t go down the way they did...it was so raw and pure emotions poured out! Hope Colton finds himself someone he will really be head over heels with and I wish Tia the same. Who knows they might still find themselves together..now that he is the next “Bachelor”, this could be all part of the show to get more viewers😊😊😊 I don’t really watch Bachelor or Bachelorette but last season brought me watching😊

Hallelujah it's about time! I always say an Ex is an Ex for a reason and seriously I always had the feeling that Tia was forcing Colton, so he got confused with his own feelings. Of course it's somehow sad, but you can never force someone to be in a relationship. Their case actually shouldn't have been sort out on national TV, it's too complicated. And Tia really should move on. I'm on Colton side and think that his decision is the right one. Don't force yourself into something you don't want to just because you don't want to hurt others feelings. It's good that he at least gave the relationship another chance and it's also good that he realized it fast enough that this relationship with Tia doesn't work. I was in the same position a few months ago and say it from experience. Sooner or later Tia will realise that it's the best. I mean I did it and so can she. To be honest he need someone outside this whole reality TV world and also someone he can trust. Virginity is a big issue and I can definitely see that he has some kind of trust problems.
