What people fail to understand is that when you’re a people pleaser. You force yourself to be whatever that person asks for regardless if that’s what you want or not. No one gave Colton a chance not to be with Tia. Tia didn’t give him a chance to not be with Tia. Him being the nice guy that he is he felt like he had to try. But in the end he realized he was forcing it and he did something about it. That shouldn’t be seen as him being indecisive. If anything he’s finally being real with himself and with Tia and knows that him trying to be happy when he’s not won’t work out. As a people pleaser myself I know how hard that is especially when the last thing you want to do is hurt someone else.

I actually think it eases the pain and the confusion for Tia when he said that he really tried. There is confort in that. And people pleasers do try. I know this because im a people pleaser. We grow and reinvent ourselves, find ways t9 make this happen for other people/things. I wish I could fight as hard for other people as I could for myself. The hardest thing for Colton as a people pleaser is to stop trying becayse it is unfaur for everyone. He tried. Tia will be great, Coltin will be great. It was really heart wrenching to watch the Break up but we must admit he was honest about it you shouldn't force Love Just feel it for Tia who thought things were going to work out! He is getting a lot of flack for breaking up with her but he just explained why he asked her to be his girlfriend and told her why he was all in. He is a people pleaser, he hates disappointing others. He wanted to make her happy and wade it out to see if he could develop those feelings because she is such a great girl but it just wasn’t there. I think it was brave of him to be honest with her now and not keep going and acting like there would be more. With time he will get better at acknowledging his feelings sooner without fear of hurting others. But this is a start. This is very relatable. Sometimes you meet wonderful people but you just don’t feel anything for them and that’s reality. Regardless he is still a Good guy. I feel like Tia was only worrying about what she wanted and putting her wants and needs first before considering Colton. It seems like she felt her feelings and desires and hopes were most important in that relationship which is why she didn’t notice when he wasn’t into her and wrote him off as being indecisive and made him seem like the bad guy for “hurting her by changing his mind” when it was never about her getting hurt, it was about him standing up for himself

I kind of knew this is coming, it’s too bad that they broke up but gave it a try. Though I have to say I admire most is his being upfront and honest with his feelings in the most respectful way. It was the sweetest breakup I have ever seen and the most loving, caring way too! Breakups don’t go down the way they did...it was so raw and pure emotions poured out! Hope Colton finds himself someone he will really be head over heels with and I wish Tia the same. Who knows they might still find themselves together..now that he is the next “Bachelor”, this could be all part of the show to get more viewers😊😊😊 I don’t really watch Bachelor or Bachelorette but last season brought me watching😊
