I agree, $200 is too much for these and I have no idea why they couldn't have at least thrown in some Formula 23 at least. I still love the look of them and really want a pair, but if these were not a Travis Scott shoe they would sit, which would work for me as I would just wait for them to go on deep discount then buy them, throw in a Move insole and be hella happy. Also I would 100% pick shark over plane, I am NOT about to eat some people.

Couldnt agree more. The quality on them seem to be pretty good but for the price, it should have full length formula 23 and at least a zoom unity in the heel, if not another one in the forefoot as well

You’re 1 BILLION percent correct on these in every way. All you’re really paying $200 for is a thick sturdy box, a tote bag that no one will ever use, and the name. Not a bad looking shoe… but definitely not worth the price… or even worse… the resellers prices.

I totally agree with the lack of tech, I have a pair and was so confused when I first picked them up out of the box. They are incredibly light, almost to the point I thought something was missing. They are very comfortable though so no knocks there.

I'm looking forward to the trainer review. I had the OG Trunners in 2000 and they just separated last year. They were some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had with Forefoot zoom, mesh toe box, and the clamping heal. I got them on clearance for $90 from Eastbay when they originally retailed for $115. I understant inflation, but the way Jordan prices have gone is crazy since they don't put half the tech in the shoes anymore. Shoes that used to have full length zoom either cut it down to just the heal or replace it with an air unit.

As a fan of trav for over 10 years now since 2012 he’s been pretty consistent with his sneaker choices sticking to vans, jordan 1s and 4s, yeezys, and some designer sneakers here there but not really these make kinda make sense as his take on a more old school nike style trainer. i was expecting something else but as a travis style sneaker it makes sense

I own Air Trainer 1 Draft Days and Velvet Brown Brogues, Air Trainer 1 lows, 2 pair of Air Trainer 2 (or Air Trainer 88's as we used to call them) from Nike SB in 2006 and a pair of the wheat Air Trainer Victor Cruz. Normally, if it has forefoot strap, I would buy first and ask questions later, but....... and I mean this with the utmost respect to Jordan Brand....... Please dig a pit and set these on fire for me, because they aren't worth $5.00 for a gallon of gas or even the cost of a single match. WHEW!! I feel better getting that off my chest. 3rd. You make a great point. There’s another shoe out there that has a similar aesthetic, that’s cheaper and probably more comfy: the Air Trainer 1. Give me two of those all day over one of these. As far as the question goes, I’ll take the shark. Survivor’s guilt would be strong either way, but at least I didn’t have to eat people I know to get there.

I agree with you; I think the shoes look great, but if Jordan brand is going to price them at $200, it should have tech to make them comfortable as hell. As for the question of the day, both experiences are traumatizing, but I'd probably choose the Jaws situation because that would at least be quicker than the other situation (which might last several weeks or months). Plus, I do not want to eat people.
