They can do their research. Starting with a basic level biology course and onwards or they can listen to those who have spent their entire lives having already done that research. But that would mean placing their trust in something they don’t trust. Personally I think the message should be, it’s ok not to know everything. I don’t know exactly what’s in a Mc Donald chip, aside from potatoes. There are 18 other ingredients in a US McDonald chip that they will happily feed their child on trust without any cries of satanism or it being anti science. They DO conparent with the government unless as Jordan says they keep their children off the roads, out of schools and hospitals and never call the fire brigade. Also hand back the child tax credits. What needs to be taught in American schools is critical thinking. How to recognise the truth from what you want to be true.

My views are a direct response to the topic of this video which I why I haven't listed out every other protest that has taken place over the past few years. I agree with you that everybody who passionately believes in a cause or issue should reasonably be expected to have an awareness of opposing perspectives. They don't have to accept or agree with them, but one would hope that their personal investment in the issue would have prepared them for the questions that Jordan was asking them. Also, you're right when you say that both sides need to listen to each other and be prepared to enter into dialogue to present their respective cases. In this video, Jordan Klepper was respectfully engaging with individuals and was clearly prepared to hear their views. Finally, I need to let you know that the USA is not my country. I'm British. But the pandemic is global and the issues being explored in the video above are being debated over here in London, and all around the world. Have a great weekend. Stay safe and well.

I agree. She probably in fact represents the majority of this minority. Teetering along a path like a lemming no idea why, or that she is being sent over the cliff. She even admitted she doesn't vote, so in reality her unformed views are no threat to anyone as it stands. Her sheer dumb ignorance equally, however, makes superbly manipulated cannon fodder. A lot like suicide bombers and kamikaze pilots, she could very readily be convinced to do awful things not even aware that she is doing them. In German, we have this grande word that describes the essence of a teachers duties "Erziehungsauftrag". This means two things: education of children and the task of raising children. This does not mean teachers go to all their kids theatre performances and have to change diapers in kindergarten, it means that because children spend most of their day and lives in school, teachers do to some aspect Co-parent because they're raising the kids to be responsible and well rounded individuals.
