Yea especially Satirist; Satire is an extremely efficient vehicle for everything between comedy, social commentary, tragedy, and horror. The style of understanding between Comedy and Horror is almost identical regarding a strong understanding of the source material, the viewer, and timing. Thats why he said all he needs to change is the music to change his movies from horror to comedy. All you need to do is change the tone.

I grew up watching Benny Hill! And it was so wonderful because they would play the early shows reruns in the late nights, back in the 80’s so I could watch how he and the show developed over all those many years even before I was born! I think the show was on around late 50’s through late 80’s & I was born in’70. So I was able to catch up on all his borderline naughty hysterics all those years! I bet it’s still playing somewhere! So funny! That & “Love, American Style” were on ch.39 after the late, late movie & the news! So sorry for gushing! Just prompted a great memory! Thank you!
