The people that were born into broken homes ,and didn't realize, until early adulthood or later ...it's a tough pill. it infuriated me. I wanted to end it. all of the bad decisions in my life were clearer.....can't go back in time just gotta pass the wisdom on to a younger generation.

I hear you man, I don’t know or can’t fathom your upbringing but I can relate to your pain at least. Although my initial argument was your point isn’t always necessarily true for to the rare occasion I was raised around a lot of drug addicts my father, aunt and uncles were all doing hard shit growing up. My mom was an alcoholic. And i was just raised in a environment that was not made for a child or anyone for that matter. I seen all of this crazy shit going on, it scared and scarred me for so long it made me never want to ever be like them or in that state of just pure disgust and shamelessness. I even feel bad talking about it now because i really am trying not to hold resentment or anger but life hits some of us way sooner and a lot harder than others can even realize. When you grow up like me and you it takes a part of us when you gain this level of consciousness. Or thats my take on it at least.

People can absolutely get better, my man. I bet you have to some degree just from the experience of realizing the abuse you'd gone through, and the more we do improve, the better we can do for others. Take care.

Yeah, I hear you with the broken home thing. Sucks. All this crap gets passed from one generation to the next, or gets absorbed from the neighborhood you move into. Makes me think of the Billie Holiday lyric, "...God bless the child thats got his own..."

Good for you. Kids need stability and priority from at least one parent. It’s a tough row to hoe but you won’t regret it in the end. It’s harder for women I think simply from a financial point of view. Trying to raise children on a single woman’s income is very tough. Sadly, too many walk out too easily these days believing the whole heroic single mom myth. Truth as Peterson said is other usually men don’t want to raise other guys kids. They just want sex from a ‘girlfriend’ and the kids do not get the priority they require. Gets messy real fast in my observation.

@@gailfagan7579 Raising another man's kids is, evolutionarily speaking, the worst punishment you can give to a man. The fact that it's becoming "normalized" is equally as disturbing as the fact that pedophilia is becoming "normalized". It's all disgusting.

1st Take: "My advice to women is date all of them: the bad boys, the cool boys, the commitment-phobic boys, the crazy boys. But do not marry them. The things that make the bad boys sexy do not make them good husbands. When it comes time to settle down, find someone who wants an equal partner. Someone who thinks women should be smart, opinionated and ambitious. Someone who values fairness and expects or, even better, wants to do his share in the home. These men exist and, trust me, over time, nothing is sexier." Yours sincerely, Sheryl Sandberg, chief operating officer of Facebook 2nd Take: “My music is always going to make a woman feel like a bad bitch. When you make a woman feel like she’s the baddest bitch in the room, to me, that’s female empowerment.” Decently yours, Cardi B. My Humble Take: What most simps, feminist fe/males, white-knights, betas and conservative guys fail to realize: bad boys provide excitement, novelty, unpredictability and fun (fear, roller-coaster drama) to a new level. In other words, stability and commitment (no longer) won't cut it for today's 🦄. Why is that? Before she was your girlfriend, wife or lover, she already had been "run through" so many guys. And each time she slept with someone (both wo/men), she lost a part of her psyche, well-being or mind/soul/spirit. In other words, she is no longer able to have emotional attachment in a healthy or committed way. *Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars: An Introductory Programing Manual* by Anonymous *The Rational Male Series* by Rollo Tomassi *The Manipulated Man* by Esther Vilar *The Myth of Male Power* by Warren Farrell *The Feminist Lie: It Was Never About Equality* by Bob Lewis *Anatomy of Female Power* by Chinweizu Ibekwe *Men on Strike* by Helen Smith Proverbs 31:3 Don't give your strength (attention, resources, mental point origen) to women, nor your ways to that which destroys kings. Married for 41 years and while at times contemplated divorce, we sought help and got past the issues of the time. Issues of communication, hierarchy and also major difficulties and stress around uprooting and moving for his career advancements. The core pair bond is around having children I think. And critically, both need to have similar values around what families mean, values of loyalty and refusal to be dishonest and cheat. At this time in life’s better for me as a woman because our finances will be much better if you stay together. Just look at how many older women are working well into their 60’ & 70’s from necessity. Also the long history together, sexual satisfaction/attraction, leisure interests, etc aren’t going to be easy to find in someone else at our age. If my spouse died, I would likely not remarry, although I might look around for a younger friend ‘companion’ for travel or socialization. Too many older men around looking for “nurses with purses”.
@iforget6940
@iforget6940 3 жыл бұрын
I never heard of nurse's with purses it realy intriguing, also i see that you said you had problems with the hierarchy what does that mean, is someone at the top making the decisions, while also accounting for the others needs, or are you 50/50, does he share his feelings because today they say share but usually from what i hear those relationships end pretty quickly if a man is emotional, things i need to know thanks for the reply in advance.

Ted lasso is dope hmm...had to reread this as it’s been awhile since it was posted. “Nurses with purses” is how a lot of older single women describe the older single men they find pursuing them. They often see a guy with health issues, not a lot of money because of divorce or whatever and lonely. They often are quite old fashioned and often want to be secure financially, cooked for and looked after when the inevitable health issues/ crisis occurs. Certainly often fairly nice men, but there’s no history at all and creating new bonds means sexual intimacy, which we senior women are often waning away from. And all widows I know just went through the nursing, caring and death of their spouses. Why would she want to do that again with someone new?? I know at least one couple, both with solid finances, who got together to enjoy companionship, RV travel and enjoyed each other’s company but not sexually, and apparently, no ‘nursing’ when he got ill. It worked well for 7 years or so, now she’s moved back near her sisters, son. As for hierarchy, I have to ask you if you’ve ever been married or have children?

Very interesting. This should be a guide for all the social engineers who strive to make life miserable for normal people. Just kidding. I think abnormal people should be coddled and nurtured, especially if it can be turned into a profit center. Actually the title attracted me to this video because I'm always wondering if it's abnormal to be pair bonded for many years. There is an awful lot to wonder about here. I don't think I'd ever divorce. Well if I did, I don't think I'd ever remarry. But, say I was to remarry, I don't think I'd ever pick a gal who has kids. I see lots of "blended" families in my work, but I never get involved now having had a taste of it long ago against my better instincts. If you watch the news you should know better than to leave your kids alone with your new sweetie. If they showed this video to kids in junior high, along with maybe 50 other videos, and showed it and the other 50 over and over until the kids were sick of watching, those exposed would be far better off! (But the ones calling the shots would never let that happen.)

Peterson is not promoting pair bonding, Peterson promotes the tournament species in us by promoting hierachy as positive. Pair bonding primates like titi monkeys have no hierarchy. What should they have it for? The biological purpose of a hierahcy is to distribute women unequally, that is no business pair bonders are in.
