@desireecc I dont know about north america, but here in Brazil you def cant afford to "focus" on many things, because even if you focus in one thing it is extremely hard to be successful.

@desireeccI agree whole heartedly. You can have one focus but what is mostly missing in the education system in the west is a broad understanding of all things which is much more important. 💫❤️🙏

@desireecc I think that I should choose one thing at a time, to me, If I want to be successful in something I need to give it my all, if I choose many things then I can’t really give my all to them simultaneously.

It doesn’t matter what you choose, what matters is that you love your life and achieve other goals. Yes choose that 1 thing, but also do other things, hobbies, you can also change careers, life is full of wonders! Don’t look at the end because we all know what that is, instead focus in living. Be smart and choose a path you find interest in, if you grow tired of it then follow another path, for there are many paths, but choose one, one at a time, until things feel well, and if they don’t feel well then keep moving forward, keep moving that’s what life is about, life is about change, good or bad but that’s life. Do as you desire son, be smart, study or not, work hard or not, but live the life you want. Personally I recommend for you to study something and if you don’t like it choose something else, and so on and on and on and on, study and be smart and learn or get a trade or make a business, to be lost is a beauty, but we all face reality. Be happy always

He's absolutely correct ! I chose a path in life , when it collapsed my entire personality and identity got disrupted. Essentially became nothing . The path to review and find oneself again is definitely a dark one . If you are going through the same thing please remember ; you must stay true to yourself , be confident in your abilities, likes , dislikes , dreams , aspirations and never let something take that away from you . Sometimes God gives us obstacles and our dreams don't come true , but don't let the dark that you've gone through completely collapse you . Learn from that . Grow from that original identity.

I finished with my BS degree in College and decided things had fallen apart and I needed work to gain focus and direction Basically I was accused of being dishonest and lying though I had not cheated in any way and I had always done my work in School. Then I was told that "they" had lied to me. Regardless of who had lied and what had been lied about nobody wanted me and apparently they did not want to waste time on me. I did my best in choosing a University Major and in working hard and trying to do it all over again makes no sense whatsoever. I was hoping to grow in my Profession and continue to develop as that is what makes sense. And pointing fingers is no good because it is my life and I am responsible for it even if people in positions of responsibility are dishonest and lie to me.

Keep it simple. Pick a job you can see yourself doing from looking at job activities, learn the skills needed for the job, and if you can learn this without needing to go to university then do this as you can learn everything online. But some require uni like med school. Pick something high in demand in your area of residence, learn the skills, choose 2 jobs related to skills be great at these specific jobs. Rather then 10 jobs you can be ok and make it harder for you to get a job.

Most people cannot pursue several paths at the same time, so we have to chose. If we don’t we remain a child “full of potential” and grow old with unused potential.
