This love Peterson shows for his wife is why I don't like the comparisons to Andrew Huberman in his current situation. Being someone who studied a hard science, from experience I know that science is full of a lot of semi-sociopathic people. It's like non-sadistic low-empathy people combined with a lot of autistic people, along with a bunch of other people who are simply high on the IQ charts. That's why they go into science. They like things, and they're not particularly people-driven. A lot of them are still charming. One of them I know is probably a sociopath. His family are a bunch of criminals - dangerous criminals. This guy I'm talking about has a PhD and gives off a very solid vibe. I don't want to out him either so I'm not going to go too much into detail. I know this just from talking to him about it and seeing the kind of wild shit he does. Huberman's eyes give me a dark vibe. Peterson's eyes always carry this deep concern.

Praying for Dr. Peterson, he says he is on the border of things, but God’s love is clearly calling him to the center, to Chris Jesus Himself. Do not be afraid of losing yourself in Christ, because Christ makes all things new. You will not get lost in Christ, you will be found. He will make you the “Self” for which you were truly created. Godspeed.

I exist on the border of things says that you will not categorize me. I am that consciousness that gives meaning to it all. Christ is the gate to God, but God is universal love, a mystery and as soon as people try to make you say statements like "I am a Christian, Buddhist, Bahaí, Muslim, Sufi, Atheist, Catholic, Protestant,..." in a way they draw you into a subtle kind of party politics. "Us", "We", is the only one category I want to belong to.
@Helden_Daddy
@Helden_Daddy Ай бұрын
@@timelessone23as a humanist perspective that’s fine, but it presupposes that there is no God. All those categories you mentioned are wholly different and contradictory. It’s less “play our game of party politics” and more “which of these entirely different world religions that all claim to be the only objective truth do you align with.” From an outside perspective I can see how that seems like two sides of the same coin, but it’s not. Prayers to all in their journey to find truth and explore the idea of faith.

This was such a charitable interview, Mr. Flynn. Jordan Peterson is intelligent enough to know that God asks for our complete surrender to His will for our lives. He, “stands at the borders” because he realizes, (more than 99% of humanity) just what that means. His intelligence the gift that holds him back. He realizes that, “To whom much is given, much is expected” and he would be called to an even greater cross than he’s been carrying. What I don’t think he understands is that he is already on The Road……….🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

@@leegrant7333what has God guided me to do? I think you just read and responded to it. As a "truth teller" myself, I think He guided me to hold up a mirror for YOU. Yes, Jordan is a full grown man clearly capable of taking care of himself. But he, like ALLL of humanity, deserves our empathy. Perhaps even more so than the average person. It is often precisely the person who is so deft at helping others achieve thier dreams and fufill their needs that everyone around them takes all they do for granted who needs our empathy the most. He's only human with a finite amount of ability to give to all who need his help. Surely you can see that even if God Himself is supporting all JP's good works, the human side of him still needs nurturing like the rest of us. I suppose it would be akin to the animals you and I help. Surely they appreciate and depend on you, essentially taking you for granted because they simply don't have the intellectual ability to understand how you aquire the resources you use to care for and feed them. And they likely repay you with boatloads of unconditional love. But something has to refill your bank account to keep the whole effort going and refill you spiritually when that difficult animal is at hand. It's not a very good analogy, but I'm sure you get the idea. Jesus, to my knowledge, would never have told anyone obviously struggling to trust and follow Him to pull up their big boy pants and do it on their own. On the contrary, He reached out His hand to pull Peter back in the boat and He expects US to follow His example and support each other. And that starts with having empathy for EVERYONE no matter how seemingly self-sufficient they appear. Other commentors on here see what I see ... he comes across in this interview like a kid at school watching all the others running and playing and having soooo much fun, but feeling like he'll never be allowed to play with them too. That certainly deserves empathy and prayers. Especially since the prize is eternal salvation not just being crowned kickball champion or the best at hide-n-seek. God surely, like me, has given you all those rescue animals to teach you to care for His human treasures as well. May your studies be fruitful!!!

I was lost, devoured, chewed up in the belly of the beast. Imprisoned. Literally imprisoned in a concrete box, deservedly so, whence I was gifted 12 rules of life. That book was the catalyst to a profound transformation in my body and soul. 5 years later and I am baptized into the Greek Orthodox Church, happily married, and in a managerial position at a blossoming construction company. Glory to God who used this man as an instrument of his Grace. God Bless this man and his wonderful ministry.

Mr. Peterson, I do not believe that you exist as an outlier in a way that is negative. I believe God created you to stand outside of the madness to bring others to the outside of it; through your honesty which is much like the love of Christ. We each have our destiny/mission and you are living yours out for the sake of the world. Thank you for your humility, honesty, and for sharing yourself with the world. God Bless You

God is preparing Dr. Peterson… when he becomes a Catholic, not if, when, he will be one of our greatest soldiers. He will be one of the frontline faces for the Faith and bring many to Jesus. He is a good man, and who knows…. I’m of the opinion that we may be witnessing the beginnings of a very, very reluctant future Saint. He struggles for the Truth, all those that want the Truth will end up at the foot of the cross. May God bless him and may the Blessed Mother watch over him.

Dr. Peterson’s book gave me something to hold onto when I was at my weakest and in the deepest hurt of my life. I’d grown up Christian, but through his influence, I pursued Christ with reckless abandon, and it’s changed everything. Christ has been my light when the darkness was so insistent to take over and bury me. I can never express my gratefulness for his influence to the extent of how profoundly deep it goes.

“I exist in the border of things” - this is where WE (as humans) are supposed to be!!! It’s where God calls us to be!! - to stand in the border between order and chaos; too much in the orderly (explored) you’re not learning anything/not climbing up Jacobs ladder. Too much in the Chaos (unexplored) you’re frozen with terror. Just like the Yin And Yang symbol. I see what he’s doing here… leading by example/by action. And I totally agree; actions certainly speak louder than words!!! All the best for you Peterson. Have a blessed Easter ❤.

Dr Petersen has a depth of grasping the central truth of the message of God through Christ in a way that many Christian believers do not even grasp, I include myself. Having the courage to speak this truth and presenting yourself with such transarency is devine intervention. Like Jesus and his followers this does place you on the border of things. Thank you for this touching and insightful conversation.

Such beautiful minds and beautiful conversation - God bless these people of Christ. The bit about how we will never know why we are here - once the Holy Spirit enters the picture and one who has been baptized by water and Spirit encounters the Spirit (that is becomes born again, as Jesus says), well then you know for sure, because the Holy Spirit reveals it to you and is, well, fairly difficult to ignore
