The conclusion is - that it is ok to get external help when trying to transcend suffering. Every one is susceptible to different forms and levels of suffering. If we don’t seek any help in trying to transcend suffering, we can make things worse for those around us, because we cannot be of support to them. Eg if you broke your arm you would seek help with pain medication and medical help to recover. Same with anxiety & depression. Problem is sometimes the help we seek doesn’t work, or can make things worse in the short or long term. Its hard to make a perfect decision in which type of help to seek.

Not to be cliche or corny but he’s the first man I’ve ever looked up to besides Jesus and cartoon characters when it comes to how to be a man the fact that he fights depression and anxiety makes me feel more of a connection to this man I pray he is rewarded for the knowledge he’s giving us

The mental strain this man has had to go through would probably kill normal people. A mind like his, to be able to withstand the barrage of the world and all it's madness, and answer with such dexterity of words is a thing te be admired.

being chronically depressed leads to a certain kind of worldview about the nature of existence. Everybody suffers. But people suffer differently and to different degrees. My mother used to say its better to be rich and miserable than poor and miserable. I might add its better to be free and miserable than to live under communism and be miserable.Dr. Peterson is very familiar with alcoholics anonymous...he might benefit from living the AA program in his own life rather than putting his trust in klonopin or xanax.

An advantage of the robot voice is it sounds extremely neutral so takes any emotional bias out of the words, which leaves it more up to the reader to decide how they feel at the end of it.

how can this channel be about essential truths if all the videos are Jordan Peterson lecturing? I'm really sorry to everyone who is a fan, bit he's ignorant, incoherent, and just usually wrong. I mean, he doesn't even fact check simple stuff. don't confuse confidence and what you want to hear with the truth.
