Many years ago, I heard on the radio that repeatedly wearing a bra over night (due to pressure) was a precursor for cancer. I don't know how long chest binders are worn at a time, but it has made me think, is it possible that the anatomical pressure on young people wearing them 'could be a danger?'

But i knew when my baby was born that it didn't feel right in its body. I could tell, i could just see it. So we bought all boys clothes bc we could tell, we just knew it. Then when he started school we asked him "you like being a boy right? You feel like a boy, don't you?" That's right. It was conditioning, guiding the child to suit our narrative so we could be special in our social circle. So every time we would visit anyone we could walk into a room and immediately announce that our child is trans. We are clearly me progressive then you. We are heroes. We saved our daughter by telling her she liked being a boy. We saved a life! Until he gets old enough to realize the confusion and unsaves himself. We don't discuss that aspect, though. It only goes one way. Only trans kids are in danger of mental health crises and pulling the plug on their own light. There is no other reason people do that. But, we could tell, the first day while holding her, that she didn't want to be a girl. It's just something a parent knows. Our status went up. It was really about us. The entire time. Conditioning and tik tok. We condition, they confirm. We're all confused. But we're all happier this way.

I believe that it can be sometimes. Just like routine circumcision. If your child is truly transgender then it isn't abuse. The challenge is knowing when it is real and when it isn't. When you understand that mistakes of nature occur and that you can be born with a feminized brain and a masculinized body then it makes sense that medical treatment and social transition is the answer, it's easier to accept that some people need to transition. When you know that mistakes of nature like androgen insensitivity are very real where biology says it doesn't care what chromosomes you have, then it's easier to accept that some people need to transition. Nobody is saying that we need to hand out estrogen pills to everybody and give testosterone patches to all the girls, that's just crazy. But if you actually learn about people who don't fit in gender-wise then you will begin to understand the very real struggles and needs that they have. And parents who actually understand their transgender children understand the need to transition- if the mismatch is truly there.

Just listening to the formulations, shows how loaded the debate is. Makes it harder for me to form an opinion to be honest. "trans-butchery" "become prey to" for example. Also the comparison to war crimes and eugenics are kinda far fetched, as the minors need to do the decision themselves instead of being sterilized or similar by a regime, right? So this rings some alarm bells for me 😅 But I am still wondering about which laws would be best. So perhaps you have some opinions for me. My current position on this all is: I read a book by a norwegian medical doctor (title: we are our brain) who argued, that there are two development phases during pregnancy: The one of the child's brain and the one of the body. If during the brain development phase different concentrations of sexual hormones are present in the mother than normally (this can happen due to certain illnesses for example), the brain can develop like the one of the other gender/sex, while the body is developing according to biological gender (XX/XY chromosomes). This is in my opinion a valid and plausible reason for transgender and enabling transgender operations (not for everyone, but for those cases, that are really suffering due to brain and body not fitting together regarding sex). I also think that human dignity should be the priority. Regarding Gender Operations in minors I am not sure. They could be valid and really help people to get a better life, but being able to do them on a whim feels wrong. So I think there is a sweet spot in the middle. Thats my current opinion. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you for reading all of this :D

It’s emotional manipulation combined with an impulsive sales pitch. Yes , fetal formation *might* play a role tho there is no way to know for sure save hooking women up to machines for 9mos and tracking the children through life. It’s all still grasping at straws looking for answers to *fix* any perceived “wrong”. That’s eugenics. If it’s a mental disorder, they need to figure that out first and foremost before deciding to mutilate anybody. ~99.9% of the time those hormones balance out into adulthood and the brain isn’t even fully developed until your 20’s. Anything before that is just treating symptoms and not the underlying “issue” but we’ve put an arbitrary 18yo for *parts* of adulthood legally. How you can get your genitals chopped off but not rent a car or have a beer? Who decides this stuff? Wacky stuff

Peterson could not answer the root basic question "who are you?" You are not your name, that is the noise people make when they want your attention, likewise, you are not a Dr. or psychology, that is your occupation , put all of the titles, education together and none of that is who you are. The answer is:: you don't know,. But you think you know who another person is and they have no right to be anything else but what you think., I, as a person am not what you think. Find out first who you are.
