Because none of it is true, there really is no debate to begin with.. You have to understand that there is a really huge gap between MJ and everybody else including Lebron. What Lebron's IQ? The guy has no go to move to create his own shot, he's lazy on defense, he's a flopper, he's always complaining, he doesn't care about winning and only cares about his own stats. Do you ever see Lebron screen out for somebody to get rebounds? No, because that what his team mates do so he can pad his rebounds total. Do you see Lebron take a half court shot to end a quarter? No, because it lowers his FG%. He takes the FT during penalty instead of letting the best FT shooter in his team. If he loses, its his teammates fault but if he wins, its all him. Lebron is a manufactured star, his greatness is no where near MJ.

@@charlesdula8529 MJ only had around 200 double doubles in his over 1,000 games, also. He had half of his career triple doubles in a small part of one season, because he was actively seeking them each game (padding stats until he got it). He was always going to the scorer's table to see what he still needed, and enlisting his entire team to help him get it. The league had to order him to stop going to the scorer's table in the middle of the game, it got so bad. In tennis you can be ranked world number 1 (ATP1) and never win a grand slam. And it is individual sport. But in basketball where there are 15 players some idiots think that team has to win many times to prove 1 of 15 players greatness. There are so many great players without even a single championship. Michael Jordan did not win any NBA championships without Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson. Why does he take all the credit like winning as a team is all about him. He just was 1 of 15 players. Most important but without good team he wouldn't win championships. And he didn't in 9 other seasons without Pippen and Jackson. And didn't dare to try it when Jackson left the bulls. Actually he did dare with wizards and we all know how it went. And there are other players with 6+ championships but no one talks about them because it is clear that it is a team achievement. Why no one argues that runners or swimmers were winning more titles 30 years ago so they are better athletes than current runners or swimmers? Because it is so obvious that athletes evolve and are better. Jordan is like Ali in boxing or Pele in football. They all were great for that era but would be stupid even to compare to these times when talent and competition at completely different level. Go watch those old NBA games. Looks so much more primitive compared to these days. Can't even force myself to finish it.
@simonballister1224
@simonballister1224 4 күн бұрын
False premise. Sure athletes evolve but are they automatically better? Not even close. Greatness transcends. If say Bo Jackson or Barry Sanders were entering the NFL today they are still the #1 RBs selected and they played almost 40 years ago. Evolution takes eons. What you are witnessing is merely advances in medicine, science, and nutrition which helps an average player much more than the elite. If you take a world champ and improve everything about his training, diet, etc. the changes are infinitesimally noticeable but do that to an average athlete and he'll turn into a good athlete. You started making a point that Jordan didn't do it alone which is true but fail to mention that Lebron had to form super teams to win anything and he still wilted down against inferior teams like the 2011 Mavericks where Jordan NEVER lost to a weaker, lower-ranked team. But then you abandon that and then go into the tired evolution argument as if as athletes of a few decades ago were inferior. Greatness is greatness. Javier Sotomayor WR High Jump set in 1993 over 30 years ago. Why haven't these superior athletes crushed that mark? Bolt 100m record set over 15 yrs ago and no one close to touching it. The point is that every generation has freaks and luminaries. Don't try to diminish them because the average guy today is better than the average guy decades ago. As if Jordan or Gretzky wouldn't dominate today. It's not based in reality. BTW, many would argue that today's NBA is garbage as they play practically no defense and launch 3's at every opportunity down the court. You are witnessing a game that is more visually appealing as it is faster paced but if some of the great teams of yesteryear faced them they'd be destroyed. Any of the former dynasties 80s Celtics, Lakers, Bad Boy Pistons, Jordan Bulls, 90s Lakers, manhandles today's teams especially if they're playing under the rules of those eras.
@jonslt
@jonslt 4 күн бұрын
@@simonballister1224 Google: Javier Sotomayor, the world record-holder for the high jump, is facing a life ban after testing positive for a banned drug for a second time. Most of those ages long records are because there was no advanced doping control. And you can be assured they will be broken eventually. And by athletes getting better overall is 100%? Who cares that someone had more titles in 1970 (to make it obvious for you). It is like comparing titles in children competition vs adults. It is different level now. And it is a team sport. So 1 player whoever he is should not take too much credit for team achievement. It is like my company's success is related to my daily job performance. There is some relationship but stupid to pretend that it is all depends on me.

Bron has it all. The scoring, the size, the discipline, the shooting range which is better than Kobe and MJ, the passing not close, the ability to defend everything and play everything. I say this all the time. Bron was the created player that I used to make NBA Live 95. Bigger, stronger, and faster than everyone the couldn't be stopped inside, kill you facing up, and could shoot the 3. I grew up in MJ, then Kobe came. But when Bron came in at 18 and what he was doing and wasn't even in his adult body I knew I'd he could keep that same athleticism and develop over time it was over. Now you got Wemby, Giannis, KD. MJ and Kobe were excellent FT shooters and clutch shooters. Kobe had a wider skill set and a better perimeter shot. Kobe's age 33-35 player efficiency never benefited from a 20-month basketball hiatus that healed MJ's bones, tendons & muscles in the last years of his age 32-35 prime. MJ had a higher vertical leap and bigger hands to finish at the rim and block more shots. MJ started his NBA career with sound college fundamentals to take more 17-19 feet 2-point shots for higher FG%. MJ used his quicker first step to intercept more passing lanes for steals that contributed to more dunks. In contrast, Kobe's lack of college fundamentals in his DNA led to him taking more 20-22 feet 2-point shots resulting in a lower Career FG% and eFG%.

When comparing GOATs 2 GOATs, NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, and PGA, Jordan is not even in the class. Only 2 GOATs ... Babe Ruth and Tom Brady match up with Lebron James' appearances in 10 final championships with different teams. Babe Ruth lost 3 Brady lost 4 James lost 6. Asterisk (Not A GOAT) on Kareem's 10 appearances (Majic Johnson joined the Lakers and carried Kareem to 9 more) and lost 4. Finally Next level GOAT Jack Nicklaus won 17 major championships he lost 19 times (at 2nd place)!!!!! When you compare MJ to Lebron, you don't even know what a GOAT looks like. Kobe didn't play Bron in playoffs. Therefore, we can't judge on that portion. 16-6. Bird vs Jordan 6-0. One on one is not basketball it's a team game. Again look at Iron Mike vs Humble Holyfield. Bottom line those 2 got crushed by someone who didn't "so called" killer instinct. One on one - yes MJ & Kobe are better. Mamuoud Raluf/Chris Jackson dug MJ out in Highschool and in Pros. That's one on one. Bball is not one on one. If we really want to talk about Killer Instinct - What about Isiah Lord Thomas III. Highschool Chip, Led his team in college to Chip (MJ) was not the leader and even as a Jr lost to Indiana Hoosiers. Pros prior to Olympics 2 Chips to 1 Chip for MJ. MJ Rookie year to April 1991 MJ/BULLS 19 ZEKE/PISTONS 33. Zeke beat Magic 2X in finals (phantom call), beat Legends during his best statistical year and beat MJ with a 48 inch Vertical. Who has the killer Instinct of all of them Zeke. But if you desire one on one and not a team sport - ok MJ & KOBE But give me a 18 to 25 year old WILT on all of them if it's about one on one

I'll take Bron's IQ of the game over Mike and Kobe's quote on quote, killer mentality any day. Kobe's killer mentality only got him 2 Finals MVP awards, 1 season MVP, the most missed shots in NBA history. The worst shooting % by a Finals MVP. Kone had 9 coaches and only won with one. That was Phil Jackson. He basically had everything from coaches to players that Jordan had to be successful, and he still comes up less than in every metric to Bron and Jordan, and people still want to put him in the conversation.

Correction, *LeBron is the All Time Leader in Missed FGs, and All Time Leader in TOs, since you also want to talk about IQ Kobe didn't get MVPs like he should have because he had the sexual assault case in his prime, the NBA is not going to award you an MVP as face of the league with that plus his feud with Shaq, who also only has 1 MVP, and we know Shaq and Kobe should have more than 1

@@truredboy Assumptions about Kobe not getting MVP's is crazy. No factual evidence. Bron is in year 22. He may have just passed Kobe in missed shots because of time. Two seasons later. Kobe set that landmark in 20 seasons. Kobe still holds the NBA record for most missed shots in a regular season. Kobe still holds the record for the worst shooting % by a FMVP. All most every superstar joined the record books in the Finals with a class of achievers but Kobe. Bron, Giannis, Jordan etc. Only players to score 50 plus points in an NBA Finals, and so on and so on. Kobe is not in any of the Finals achievement archives. Only the negative achievement. If Kobe handled the rock like Bron, he would have set the turnover record in year 15 probably. No cap. Kobe averaged 15 ppg in his first Finals. Brons worst Finals against Dallas and he didn't average no 15 ppg. Kobe quite on his team in the middle of a playoff series. The man would not shoot the ball because he was whining like a wee wee baby about the media calling him a ball hog, but he has killer mentality. Please.

The sad thing about haters is that there is strength only in numbers. People that FAVOR LeBron's game over MJ or Kobe's game rarely HATE on their game. Fan-ADDICTS of MJ or Kobe always find a way to hate on LeBron even when he wins or does something good. That's when you know you have a serious addiction, fetish, or idol worship problem, and you need to reconsider your walk thru life. Haters always MUTE their own arguments when they look at stats and numbers singularly. All things being equal, and without moving the goalposts, Bill Russell is the "goat" because no one has more rings than he does. Now, how crazy does that sound to most people? Then, stop using the rings argument to destroy another man's legacy. Eras are different. Rules are different. Referees are different. Players are different. Power distribution is different. #FACTSmatter

It's an oxymoron to say "they're all GOATs". The term GOAT means Greatest of _All_ Time so how can someone be a GOAT but only of their era?

I hate Jordan and Kobe but calling LeChoke better than MJ is a spit in the face or spit down your throat. LeChoke has very, very noticeable weaknesses in his game while Jordan has zero weaknesses. Danger Production already proven that Jordan beats LeBrick in Winning, Accomplishments, Statistics, and the Eye Test (zero weaknesses vs LeChoke's 4 weaknesses). It's like you telling me $100 usd has LESS purchasing power than $20 usd. LeStupid fans are brainwashed by LeMedia's lies. They lack critical thinking skills.

LeBron hardest to guard for Evan Mobley but the best guard he ever seen play is as Kobe Bean Bryant!!! 👑👑👑. All time list is locked in at 1- MJ & Kobe. LBJ, Kareem, & Magic are 3-5.
