Yeah if I was a person doing something like this and arrived after a short break and had wobbly legs in the first practices, there is NO way I could get myself strengthened back up in just a few days to do one show much less FOUR a day?!! each show is 30 mins!! time in between shows varies, but typically 2-3 hours!

I recall you saying you had hip surgery. I tore my labral muscle and I was curious if you had that same issue and how was the surgery / recovery?

yes i had the same surgery! I was able to recover 2 months ahead of estimated schedule which was a relief and i was able to get back physically to where I was before the tear :) if i overuse it, it does flare up but calms down after a few days of rest!

I believe her surgery was 5+ years ago, but when she was home after having hip pain during the last contract she had a doctor check everything out and did an MRI I think, to make sure all was well.

LOVE the stuff you put out! Super great and fun! Most of the ice shows you do on the ship though seem really boring to me. If I happened to be on the ship and you happened to be in it, I would go just because that would be fun but for no other reason. This show though looks AWESOME!!! They need to do it as a traveling show and come to SoCal.

Just curious what seems boring about the cruise shows to you? Between those and this land show... I don't see much difference except maybe the difficulty on the cruise ships might be a little lower due to having to do shows sometimes under rocky weather etc! Otherwise, it's a lot of the same moves, pretty costumes etc, and both on the ice of course lol

it’s interesting to hear this especially because the show on ships is actually more difficult than that of the show here! obviously both have its differences and challenges, but the elements are just as hard as on the ship without rocking !

@@jbauth That's even crazier to me to know that the shows on the ships are More difficult than your land show!! So you maybe had an easier show but had to do it twice as many times a day!! I think the land show might still come out harder on you overall, but you are strong and so dedicated and as always you are enjoying it all lol ;) And I think you are doing an amazing job on land and sea :)

I honestly can’t imagine how much it takes for you to put on four shows a day!! My friend was a professional figure skater and had to quit because of constant injuries requiring surgery. What times are your shows at? Do you get breaks in between? Do they provide you food in between or do you pay for all yourselves? I truly hope you’re taking enough time to take care of yourself!! By the way, I watched the Buffalo Bills game and was so disappointed. I live just across the lake on the east side of Toronto and we are major Buffalo Bills fans.

I have been following her for about a year and I know she said that she likes steak, but she doesn't eat it often as you see in so many of her videos she eats lighter options and gets her protein other ways most of the time. And I didn't say you shouldn't tell JORDAN that as if she IS a vegetarian since she isn't and I know that and many watchers know that. I just said you shouldn't tell someone (as in anyone) what to eat. Many people find it offensive especially with so many with body image issues and how big of a deal it is. And to tell someone, especially someone who is very capable of keeping track of when they need more food/more protein as Jordan is, that just sounds like a comment saying you need to help her because she can't manage on her own. So how do you think athletes who don't eat steak (beef, or any other meats at all) manage to do anything strenuous?

@@24carrotgold8 Yeah it is definitely an intense contract this time for sure... 4 shows especially starting at about 2pm & going til the night with about 2 hours between doesn't leave much time to rest or regain energy!! I know everyone that has been watching, as well as Jordan & her family & friends are probably hoping that she has no issues with hip pain after getting the all-clear from the doctor. 4 shows a day could definitely exert some pressure on weaker points. It's amazing that they have these athletes come in & learn a show in such a short number of days & then pound out so many daily shows!! As to what I "heard" from your comment, we all know that comments can be easily misunderstood or have a different feeling of context as you read them. It seems especially from shorter comments & those without emotes to maybe show the general "feel" of what you try to get across on the web are the easiest to misread lol. I know your original comment had emotes, it just still "seemed" like a comment that I've heard from people who eat meat towards those that don't at all or don't very much. I think Jordan does an amazing job of keeping her energy up to do so many practices, shows & so much exercise every single day!! I wish I had 1/4 of her energy... and I DO eat steak, I just try not to tell others to go enjoy a big juicy steak because it often doesn't go well nowadays ;) ROFL
