Donna and Matt deserve whatever they earn doing videos, cutting fabric and everything else they present, all this involves a massive amount of time and energy. I for one, among others, deeply appreciate what they do to enhance and increase quilt making.

All of the quilt businesses I know deserve to be recognized. Matt and Donna started when it was hard to be in the quilting business. I know of other quilting businesses that didn't make it but they stuck with it through thick and thin. Matt and the family work hard behind the scenes, cutting and assembling kits.

Love the Jordan family. She and Jenny Doan of Missouri Star are my two favorite people to watch. They’re down to earth and give the best advice on making a quilt. They even show the oopsies and say I can live with that, if you can’t you can take it out and do it over. They feel like a next door neighbor you can go to for advice.

I Agree with everything they have said about Donna & her husband Matt Jordan Husband. I have learned a lot by watching every video. She has made each video a very loveable video as a tool of making quilts. They are made for any beginners a Step by Step guideline of making any type of quilt, Big & or small. I want to Thank You Both for being there for me. Since 2011 I was forced to leave my old Job. For health reasons I was made to find a passion in other ways to keep my mind occupied, so I took up quilting. Thank you again ''JORDAN'S''

I had never quilted before but watched Donna's videos and have now completed 5 quilts for my family and myself and often refer back to the videos for inspiration or tips. None were done with pattens just ideas and tips from Donna... They are true inspirations, and I wish I lived closer and was able to purchase the fabrics but shipping to NZ is out of my price point at this stage. maybe one day .....

It’s always good to know that people still work hard and are successful for what they do. Bye only watching this video. It wasn’t hard for me to understand that she is very talented and coordinate her colors. Absolutely beautiful fabric and beautifully packaged to make such beautiful designs. It looks as if she’s very talented and with techniques that makes quilting more passable. Years ago it was a necessity to quilt….. it became for some a pastime and a hobby…. Today is it explosive!!!…. Very popular….. the convenience of pre-cut fabric are wonderful. But expensive compare to yardage…. Steel yet you’ve got to love it….❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I will point out one thing re. The Jordans. At the end of every video i have watched, they actually give away one of her fantastic quilts. Makes me wonder what other well known quilting videos do with the quilts demonstrated in their videos. If the making of money is their goal, i dont think they would be giving any of those quilts away.

I used to work in a fabric store - retired in 2005. Even back then, quilting was big. We had lots of quilting customers, sold fabric, books and supplies. There were quilting clubs and national shows with some famous quilters selling quilts for hundreds of dollars. Your picture of a pathetic hobby waiting for Jordan Fabrics to come along is false and smug.

Wouldn’t say queen of quilting too few free patterns I would watch fat quarter shop which has a lot of free patterns sorry Donna but too many paid patterns in your videos 😢
@irenepeter-lyons3504 күн бұрын
She has a comprehensive catalogue of free patterns to download. She's in business and not many businesses give away free stuff.
@RachelAsShePaints4 күн бұрын
@@irenepeter-lyons350She has a catalog of free patterns bc fabric shops want to sell fabric; that is their largest profit margin after notions and small tools (based on markup), patterns bring in quite a bit less, especially after factoring in wholesale cost from individual designers and companies (besides the ones they don’t produce themselves). Fat quarter shop is doing great business-wise with an expansive free pattern offering. I enjoy both businesses. patterns sell fabric.
@helencoleman62544 күн бұрын
Love Donna Jordan, as others have said she inspires us to try more. Most patterns have to be paid for the people who design quilts are entitled to make money from their ideas. It’s business.
@karenrobertson19443 күн бұрын
I learned so much from Donna's videos since I started quilting in 2020; even if I would have to pay for the pattern, I watch every video for the new or reinforced learning. I have downloaded about 20 free patterns from their website which I use or adapt to my next project. I wish the Jordan family a wonderful Christmas and continued success (and of course good health) in 2025.

Is there something wrong with older women? Does this craft need to denigrate a section of the community to promote their business. What an indictment of this business.
