I enjoyed this so much. I have a drunkard's Path quilt I quilted several years ago. I am hand pieced it together by hand and I need to get the material so I can get it quilted. It is off white and red calico. I made it big enough to make a bedspread sign, so it is large. My mother had a plastic quilting frame and I have it. She passed away nearly 21 years ago. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed weekend.

I really enjoy watching you sew. When I was little I was always fascinated by my grandmother's ability to make so many things. I'm 47 now and and have tinkered for the past 20 years but now wanting to do more as a hobby when I'm not working as an RN in ICU. I've really gotten brave and now just bought a serger too! These Pillows are GORGEOUS!!!! Seriously GORGEOUS!! Look soooo expensive & we know they would be in any store!! I picked up some tips on things I’ve always questioned . I know I’d really appreciate it if you did more vids on sewing pillows. There are different shapes then just rectangular. You are very talented so whatever you do choose to sew I will definitely watch & you obviously have picked up little tricks & things to make your projects quicker & easier so I will DEFINITELY BE USING THEM!! Awesome! I have only tried once to make a ruffled pillow, but, I had a ruffle foot that went on my machine. I think this way works wonders. This is the first time I have seen anyone make the ruffled pillow on the machine with out that special foot. Enjoyed your tutorial ... now, I have to try it your way!

I think that yellow fabric was so gorgeous with the grays together, u do a nice job on everything. I think u and your hubby are perfectionist but in a good way. I am one as well, but I get really worked up when it is not, I would like to be calm and professional about as you are. Such a great instructor. And, your way of doing everything at the machine is so awesome. I believe all your tutorials are just so well thought out and executed in an enjoyable way. Thank you for all your help. I know this video is two years old, but man; that green one would look just lovely on my couch! Lol Seriously though, this is about the best pillow tutorial I have ever seen. I made some pillows for my mother several years ago (not this fancy) and this tutorial would have been nice to watch before hand. Even though it was my first attempt (and without a pattern) I thought I did a good job anyway. She still has them! Thanks for putting this out there, Donna!

I like your style of teaching, I actually understand you and your thorough. I'm going to make 3 ruffled couch pillows this week following these instructions. The backing part was very surprising with the opening to insert whatever you want. I also didn't realize why my pillows always turned out loose looking and now I know I need some batting on the back. Wow such a easy fix. I just thought I was a crappy sewer. Lol

Have always loved double ruffles on a pillow. Years ago I bought ready made ruffles in coordinating fabrics, but was stuck with their choices for the fabrics. This is so much easier and I can choose my own combinations. Thank you so much. Really liked the faux ruffle you did too. Must do that next time. I like to have matching pillows for my afghans and lap/throw quilts. Use the same pillow forms, just switch them out periodically. Lord knows I do not have enough room to store that many pillows, but I do make room to have the pillow covers. Love, love, love your work and videos!

Some months ago I found some fantastic fabric with a heavy embossed embroidered pattern which is perfect for pillows (cushions) on my sofa and chairs. This project is nearing the top of the list and thanks to this great tutorial I now know what to do (leaving out the flange on the pillow body as this will detract from the embroidery). Timing was perfect- thank you. As my 'pillows' are the size of your 3rd cushion, please post a further tutorial on that one!

You can do ruffles on any machine. Just tighten your tension and lengthen our stitch
