Aaaaaand that's why I don't trust the current "self employed" delivery services. Uber, grubhub, your cousin ned. None of them. They aren't given proper training, backround checks, or even under proper management to answer to if any complaints or issues arise to file with. Litterally anyone can be behind the wheel and could do stuff like this. Just no thanks. Thanks Jordan for another great double feature of cars, delivery services, and more morbid reasons to remember to tip your deranged delivery guy.

Not to mention that it is really hard to contact with a human help representative in these app-based services. Just automated messages and bots, useless most of the time. If you order directly from a restaurant they have their own drivers, so it is easy to contact if need be.

My grandmother has had the same pld dodge van since 2006. Its got a million miles no joke. I have basically rebuilt the car twice but it wont fuckin die. And she wont give it up. I lived in a mini van in newfoundland Canada last summer. Sliding door open to the ocean while i drink a cold beer. That was heaven. Vans for life.

I used to doordash. I don't blame that guy for doing what he did. Some of the deliveries I did made me consider it. Never would, but I definitely made some of them inconvenienced by making them walk to get their food. This was during covid, and I was not going into foreign areas because they didn't feel like using their legs.
